Y/N was 7 months pregnant. I stayed by her side every day and made sure she was happy healthy and comfortable. I sat in the throne room talking and laughing with other members of my court.
"John Adams running the United States, can you imagine?" I said with a chuckle.
"That poor man" my advisor added.
"Uh your majesty, I believe your wife requires your attention" one of them said.
My head turned an I saw my beautiful wife in her nightgown. I smiled and walked over to her.
"Darling it's so late why are you still awake?"
Y/N smiled and put my hand on her stomach. I could feel the baby kicking. My eyes widen and I smiled.
"She misses her father" Y/N whispered. I smirked and picked her up.
"Gentlemen let's pick this up tomorrow" I said walking up to our room.
I laid in bed with her, my head on her stomach whispering to my unborn child. Y/N stroked my hair and smiled. Soon we both fell asleep.

"YOUR MAJESTY YOUR WIFE IS IN LABOR!" A young servant yelled from outside my office. Without a word I dashed to my room where I saw Y/N laying on the bed sweating and whimpering in pain. I grab her hand and kiss her forehead.
"Shhh it's ok sweetheart" I whispered trying to calm her down.
She gave me a nod.

Hours pass and Y/N was still in labor. Finally we got to see our baby girl. I looked at my beautiful wife and daughter. After Y/N fed Lucinda she started to drift off. I picked up the new born and kiss Y/N.
"I'll take care of Lucinda, you sleep. You did great my love."
She smiled at me before falling asleep.
