Chapter 1 - Decision Maker

He still remember clearly what happened this morning. The argument he had with his father. He will never win. He lost. Everytime.

"Yujin-ah. Today is your graduation day right?" A cold vibes from his father. Only Yujin can relate.

"Yes Dad. You're coming don't you?" He bravely asked. They're sitting there, having their luxury breakfast. A huge white table with six white chairs. Three of them, the youngest son, the father and the mother are eating elegantly while few maids standing beside them, preparing their meal, waiting for their next order. Rich people.

"I'm sorry son. I can't. I have to meet my friend today. We'll talk about you." The father continuously munching his banana pancake with some honey and milk. Not forgetting his favourite espresso early in the morning.

"About me? What do you mean?" Yujin asked again. He's eating his favorite blueberry waffle. But he doesn't seem to be enjoying it at the moment.

"About you being the new CEO soon. I'm getting older. Sooner or later you'll take over the company. You need to learn now."

"That's it?" The son become a bit intimidating. He feels suspicious about his father. That's not it. There's something more. He has this weird hunch about his own father.

"Also his daughter. I'm setting you guys up. They owned a famous tech company. It'll be a huge help for us. He's also my friend. It'll be great if you marry his daughter." He answered like nothing's wrong.

"What do you mean Dad?! No! I can't accept that!" He stopped everything he's doing. Now focusing on his father. Both hands on the table.

"Yujin-ah... Listen first...." His mother tried to calm him.

"So you know about this too?" Yujin looked at his mother intensely. Waiting for her answer though he already knew it. Obviously.

"Yujin-ah.... Please..."

"No Mom! No! I'm sick of all these things! I did everything you guys want me to! But now I can't anymore! And you know I have Minju! I'll only marry her! Not anyone else!" He stood and tried to walk from the table. He's really mad. Raging on the table.

"Minju! Minju! Minju! She doesn't suit to be in our family! I won't accept that! You have to accept this marriage no matter what! Enough with playing with that girl! Leave her!" His father still sitting but looking at Yujin.

"Playing? You think I'm playing huh.. You know nothing about me. Minju... I love her... I'll only marry her Dad. I'm sorry... But this time I can't do what you want..." He said a bit calm but emphasizing each thing he said.

"I don't care about your love. Accept this marriage or leave this house. Without anything. Choose wisely young man." The father challenged, threatening his own son.

"I will leave. Just like you wish." Yujin walked to their front door. Leaving his car key on the table.

"Yujin-ah... Please... Don't leave me here... You wanna see me alone here? Please my son.. please..." His mother pleaded, pulling his hand.

"I can't Mom. I'm sorry." He walked out.

"Please don't son. Please... You'll see me die if you leave. I'll die Yujin-ah. Mom will die without you." The mother keep crying. Saying nonsense.
