Chapter 5

All week I've been thinking about what happened. I felt closer to Ross and the more time we spent together, the more I started to realise that, I'm into him. So today is his game. I'm suppose to wear his jersey in order to support him today. I felt nervous and anxious for some reason. Like there is a reason behind this. Oh well. I just hope that I am able to make it.

"Good morning." My mom said as she kissed my cheek. "Morning. Your in a good mood today." I said. "That's because today, I am flying to my branch to do something. I know we had something planned but this is important." She said. "More important than family?" I mumble. "What was that?" She asked. "Nothing. How long will you be gone?" I asked. "A week. I'll be back next Friday." She said. Wow. Thanks parents. "Okay." I say and get up. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Oh nothing. I just have to get to school." I say. "But your still in pajamas." She pointed out. "Yes. So I need to change.Then head to school." I say. She nods. "Laura…" She starts. "No. Don't." I say.

I made my way to my room and took out my outfit. Dark skinny jeans and a light purple strapped ruffled top. I put them on then slip on my converse. I put my hair up then down to let my curls flow. I put on some light eyeliner and tinted my lips a nice shade of pink. I looked good. I pulled my bag over my shoulder and made my way out the house. "Bye mom!" I said as I quickly left.

I made my way to my locker and once again those losers were there. "Excuse me." I say. "Oh if it isn't new girl? I haven't seen you in awhile. Where have you been?" They asked. "Here. Where have you been?" I asked rolling my eyes. "Ah. Sassy. I like it." He said and came closer to me. He reaked of onions. Ew. I made a disgusted face. "Wow. Sassy and seductive. Me likey." He said. I kneed him. "Woah!" He groaned and fell down. The other guys then surrounded me. Oh no. I tried to run but they grabbed me. "Let go!!" I shouted. "Or What?" One asked. I didn't say anything and they dragged me away. Ross!! Help!!!

I was in a closet. I coughed at all the dust surrounding me. "Get me out of here!!" I shouted. "No. First were gonna have some fun." He smirked. "Don't touch me!" I said. I tried my best to get out of his grip. His lips came in contact with my neck!! I screamed and he covered my mouth with his hand. I started to cry. The door swung open with a bang. He got off of me. Thank god. I looked and saw Ross. He was pissed. "Didn't I tell you to leave her alone!?" He asked. Jackson slowly approached him. This was not gonna end well. "Since when were you my boss?" He asked him. He approached him. I quickly ran and hugged him. "No! Don't. It's not worth it." I reached out to him. I looked up at him with my tear filled eyes. He wiped my tears with his thumb. He took in a deep breath. "You got lucky. Next time, you won't be so lucky." He growled and took my hand, dragging me away.

"Did he do anything to you?" He asked. "No. Nothing." I lie. "Tell me the truth!" He growled. "I'm sorry. He just kissed my neck and covered my mouth as soon as I screamed for help." I say. He pulled away from me and started towards the hallway of the school. "No! Ross! Please." I beg. "You don't have to do anything." I say as I hugged his legs to stop. He calmed down and looked down at me. He was completely calm. I felt it was okay and slowly got up. As soon as I felt he was still mad I hugged him tightly. His arms slowly came around my waist. I pulled back slowly. Only enough to see into his face. "Are you calm enough for me to let you go?" I ask. "I don't mind if you don't let go." He said. I smile and pull away. "See you after class." He said and quickly ran off. Not the Friday I was expecting. "Having funny in Rossville?" Someone asked behind me.
