Chapter 71

I woke up with a pounding headache.Ow.What happened? All I remember is begging Ross to stay and afterwards everything was pure darkness. I noticed a ring on my finger. I looked at it. "Wear it if you say yes and hand it to me if no." He whispered. I smiled. I'm going to prom! I'm going to prom!!! I'M GOING TO PROM!!!! Huh. Funny. My head no longer hurts. Isn't that odd? There was a knock at the door. Damn. Who is here at this time? I quickly brushed through my hair and put it back up. I put my robe on and slipped on my fuzzy slippers. I went down the stairs and popped some coffee in the coffee maker and toast in the toaster. I then ran to the door. I opened it and smiled. Chris?

"Hey." He said stuffing his hands in his pocket. "Hey." I say pursing my lips. "Can I come in? We need to talk." He said. I nodded. "Sure." I say as I moved out the way for him to come inside. "Why have you been ignoring me?" I asked. "I just needed to think.Plus I'm happy for you." He smiled. "Huh?" I asked. "I overracted. I wanted to say I'm sorry." He said. "Oh. Its okay." I say. "No its not. I care about you and I guess seeing you guys already back together kinda made me wonder and mad." He said. "Well thanks. I think you should join me for breakfast. We can talk about it." I say as I walked towards the done toast. "Thanks but I'd rather go before someone gets the wrong idea." He said. I chuckled. "He's not coming over til around 1. Its 10. Relax." I say. He takes a deep breath and sits down at the table. I smile. "Nutella?" I asked. He nodded. I spreaded it on our toasts and brought over the coffee. We ate breakfast and talked about it all. Being able to finally make a breakthrough with him makes today even better. But then things took a turn. There was another knock at the door. I went to get it and he trodded in. I gulped.

"Hey sweetie." He pecked my cheek. I smiled and hugged him tightly. "Rossy." I say. He chuckled as he pulled back to see my face. "Breakfast?" He asked. "Yeah." I say. He suddenly started to fidget. "Are you okay?" I asked. "I'm fine. How about you?" He asked. Huh? He kissed me quickly then pulled away and looked at me. "Why are you in a robe and not clothes?" He asked. "Because I knew you were coming." I smirked. He narrowed his eyes at me. "Don't tempt me." He said. I blush and wrap my arms around his neck as  he wrapped his around my waist.We started to makeout and I didn't even know how it started. We pulled away as we heard a faint cough. Oh yeah. "What's he doing here?" He asked. "I'm gonna go." Chris said starting for the door. "Your damn right your gonna go." He said balling his fist. "See you in school." He said and walked out. He turned to face me. I smiled toothly. "Hey. Now before you say anything I--" He pulled me. "Already?" He asked. The pressure was unbearable. "No." I say trying to push him off. He let go of me and walked away. Probably calming himself. Yes. We're making progress.

"Laura." He said. I looked at him. "Were you alone, eating breakfast with him?" He asked. "Look. I invited him in." I say. He clenched his jaw. "Why?" He asked. I sighed. "Because he came to apologise for giving me the cold shoulder about you. And we also talked about us as in me and him." I tell him. He looked at me sharply. "But nothing is between us. Its over. We're friends and thats all there is to it." I say sitting on his lap and cupping his face. He took a deep breath. "I believe you." He said. "Good." I say rubbing his cheeks. Wow. Soft. "Do you moisterize?" I asked. He smiled. "See. Keep that there. It makes me happy." I smiled. "Get into clothes." He said. "Make me." I smirked. He didn't even move and looked at me. "Gladly." He smirked. Suddenly, wait...what's with the---My eyes widened. "Alright!" I shouted as my face faded a deep shade of red. "You play too much." I say smacking his chest and getting off him. "You asked for it." He winked. I rolled my eyes and turned to walk away. "Shower." He said. I rolled my eyes again then walked away from him.
