"You want a beer?" Kalyn asked me & I got out of my seat.

"I'll get it." I said, walking beside him.

"No, I got it." He said, not taking no for an answer.

I rolled my eyes & we got to the bar on the other side of the pub.

"Hey mate, just five beers."

The bartender went to get the drinks & I looked up at Kalyn. The top of my head reached just under his chin.

"You didn't have to do that, but thank you." I said, tickling his arm that was resting on the bar.

He grinned & I smiled, looking up at him.

"No worries, I've been meaning to talk to you actually."

"Oh yeah?" I asked, taking a sip of my beer.

"Yeah, it's kinda been on my mind since the whole thermostat incident."

I gave him a confused look & he laughed.

"I was thinking we should..."

He didn't get to finish what he was saying, because I had someone tapping me on the shoulder asking for a dance.

"Oh no sorry." I said, trying to laugh it off.

"Come on sexy, one dance." The guy begged & I looked up at Kalyn.

"Bro she said no, fuck off." Kalyn said aggressively, which kinda turned me on.

"Hey wait, you're Kalyn Ponga?"

Kalyn looked at me & I handed him two of the beers.

"That's me." He said, nodding at the guy.

"Sorry man." The guy said, putting his hands & up walking away.

"Piss off." Kalyn said, glaring at him.

The guy left & I looked up at him.

"That..." He started, but I cut him off.

I leaned up to him & pressed my lips on his.
He groaned & grabbed my waist, pulling me closer to him.
I smiled into the kiss & pulled away from him.

I looked up at him & he was grinning, putting his arm over my shoulder & hugging me closer to him, kissing my forehead.

"Let's get these beers back." He whispered, following me to the table outside.

"Took you a while." Mickey laughed, grabbing some beers off me.

"Line was long." Kalyn  said, grinning at me.

"B, you still drink like the old days?"

"Of course she does, it's in our blood." Billy said & I laughed.

"No I don't. Hangovers aren't as fun as they were when you were 17." I said, and the boys laughed.

"She used to be so good at parties, I remember this one where we versed each other in beer pong & she kicked my ass."

"Maybe you're just shit?" Kalyn said & all the boys laughed, where Jake just glared at him.

"Okay, let's talk about something else." I said, trying to break the awkwardness.
