Harry's POV

I wait outside the large waiting area to be called by the guy whoever is held behind the office door. A couple of students walk past me, giggling and playfully pushing each other. One of them pushes too far and one of the other girls are thrown into me.

"Oh, I'm sorry." She giggles and repositions herself. She looks up and down at me smiling before her friend tells her to stop drooling while pulling her away.

"Gosh, Julia! Can you be any louder?" The girl whines to her friend and I laugh to myself.

"Harry Styles," a tall man with a deep voice calls my name. I look over and see that he's ready to see me. For some reason, I'm nervous.

I walk into the office and he shakes my hand aggressively before taken a seat behind the cherry wood desk that reads "Wilson" on the plaque. This school is too damn perfect. His suit and tie doesn't have a single wrinkle in it, the color of his eyes matches the dark brown color of his hair.,

"Are you here to talk about you joining us this fall?" he smiles. "I understand the whole scenery can be a little intimidating and-"

"No," I stop him. "I'm not here for that. I'm not attending."

"You're not attending .." I just fucking said that.. He sighs and turns to his chair and goes To his computer, typing quickly onto the keyboard. "You're grades were outstanding. You were expelled, I don't even know how you were excepted if that happened." He almost laughs. "Why are you giving up this incredible opportunity?"

Because of her. It's because it wouldn't be fair of me to come here while she ls moping around the apartment wishing she was with me. It's my fault she didn't get excepted and it's not right for me to come here when she deserves it so much more than I do. I don't deserve shit.

Instead of answering him, I grab the black backpack and open the zipper to take the sketch books out. "Look, I'm not here to talk about me." I tell him as I toss the books onto his desk.
"Can you please take a look at these?" I ask him and he takes a deep breath before turning the first page.

He examines each piece of work. The only sounds that are made are the flipping of the thick pages with the pounding of my heart against my rib cage.

I'm trying so hard to make things better for her. She can smile and laugh as much as she wants to but I know she's hurting because of me every second of every day. When she looks at me, it doesn't feel the same anymore. The sparkle in her eyes have dimmed and I hate to see her hurt. I'm hoping that the man in front of me can somehow reconsider her denied acceptance to this school.

Wilson clears his throat and it pulls me out of my thoughts. He examines one piece of work. He keeps looking up at me and then back down at the page.

"You know this girl I am assuming," he turns the book towards me and it's the picture that she has drawn of us. I try to hide my smile a bit when I see the picture.

"Yes. She is my girlfriend." I tell him. He closes the book and places them on top of each other at the corner of my desk for me to take.

"She is very talented." He compliments and I nod agreeing with him. "Did she apply for the arts center here?"

"She did," I tell him. "She received a denial letter."

"And you want me to reconsider?" He raises and eyebrow and looks at me like I have two heads. No shit, why else would I show you that... "What is her name?"

"Bethany. Bethany Jane Collins." Im starting to shake now. I look down at my fingertips and then start to play with the rings on my finger while he types away on the large computer screen in front of him.
