[ Chapter 69]

I look at the bowl next to it to the plate of waffles and see a bowl of chips. I shrug and grab it. I close the fridge door and Dante stood there.

I shriek and the bowl falls, he caught it before it shatters on the floor. He looks up at me, I grin.

" Sorry " I said.

" It's alright " he give me the bowl, I take it.

" It's my fault you got scared " he said.

" How did you get in? " I asked.

" That's my room " he pointed to the left which is next to Ein's room.

" Oh "

There was an awkward silent.

" Chips? " I asked.

" No " he smiles.

I shrug and walk pass him and turn to sit down on the stool near the kitchen counter. He sits down next to me.

" Do you, remember who I am? " He asked, I nodded.

" What do you remember about me? " He asked.

" You tried to kill me " I said.

" Other than that? " He asked.

" That's all I can remember " I said.

I see he has an expression that says he regretted something.

" I'm sure we both have gone pass that " I said.

" We did " he said.

I take a piece of chip and start munching on it. He place his hand on my shoulder, I flinched.

" Sorry " I said.

" Eat slowly " he said, I nodded and stood up as he walk back to his room then shut the door.

~ Time Skip ~

I hug my legs as I sigh. A jacket was then wrapped around my shoulders, I look up and see Ein. He pass me a bowl of porridge, I smile and take it, I stir it with the spoon and scoop it as I taste it. I flinched when the heat made contact on my tongue, I drop the spoon in the bowl and cover my mouth.

" Careful " Ein sit down beside me.

I lick my lips and pick up the spoon again, I blow it before I take a sip. It's when the door bell is repeatedly being pressed.

" What the fuck? " Dante exits his room and stomp to the door.

He opens the door.

" Oh you " he said in a bitchy tone.

I look up at Ein.

" Wait here " he said and stood up as I continue to eat the porridge.

" She's in the living room " I hear Dante said.

I see Dante walking back to his room and shut his door. Ein then sit back down beside me.

" Who is it? " I asked.

It's when two familiar person pass me and sit down in front of me.

" Coraline, Peter " I said.

I see a little boy in her hands, sleeping, he had light blond hair.

" His name is Hugo, wanna hold him? " She asked, I shook my head as I continue to eat the porridge.

" I'm still in recovery " I said.

" Do you remember anything about us? " Peter asked.

" Yes, but. . . . " I pause  myself.

" What? " Coraline asked.

" I only have the image of you two doing. . .things. . . " I said.

" What things? " Ein looks down at me.

" On the. . . bed " I immediately stuff some porridge in my mouth.

" No one can take that image off their head " Peter said.

Coraline leans back.

" They told me you barely survived " she said.

" Don't bring that up " I shake my head.

I finish the porridge and wipe my mouth as I pass the bowl to Ein. I hug my legs and pull the jacket around my shoulder to cover my arms since I'm wearing a tank top and shorts.

Ein stood up and walk to the kitchen.

" I heard F/n is alive " Peter said.

" He's fine " I said.

They were about to say something but I beat them to it.

" It was nice meeting you guys, again, I guess " I said.

There was an awkward silent.

" He's cute " I look at Hugo.

" He's two months old " Coraline said.

My phone then rings, I take it out and see an unknown phone number. I answer it.

" Hello? "

" Hey girl, it's Kamaya, remember me? " Kamaya's voice appears.

" Oh, you, umm, we met at the bar " I said.

" I just wanna say I'm glad you survived " she said.

" Sorry, I don't remember anything " I said.

" I just wanna say I wasn't involve with Carter, he was just trying to get into the military power and I refuse " she said.

" Thanks, I guess " I said.

" Anyways, see ya whenever, this is my number " she said.

" Wait, how did you get my num– " she ends the call.

" Who was that? " Ein asked.

" Kamaya " I said.

" What does she want? " Coraline asked.

" Just greeting me that's all " I said and scratch my shoulder where the eczema is.

" I guess we better get going though, Sasha and Ivy doesn't know we're back " they stood up.

" Bye " I said.

Peter ruffles my hair and walk away as Ein walk them out. I then fall side ways as my head land on the pillow.

" Quack "

I'm so excited to finish this book!!!
