I explained everything to Clara on the text, she hasn't replied yet, neither has she read it.

I hear a sigh and I look up as Nicole out done her cup of water.

" Dante can be like that sometimes, he's just not himself right now since he thinks I'm dead " she said.

" You mean I killed you? " I asked.

" Ignore him, when the day comes, and Carter is fully exposed, I'll explain everything to them, for you " she said, I nodded.

" Clara's probably on her period, the last time she was pissed is when I puked inside her bag " I said.

" That's gross " she said.

I sigh.

" Why don't you come here often? " She asked.

" If I do, Carter will be suspicious and have one of our skilled men's to investigate, almost got caught once and Tanya most got killed " I said.

" So, anything on Ein?, You don't seem to talk about him a lot " She said.

" We kissed " I said.

" W-you-wai-he-what?! " She looks at me with wide eyes.

" Is that a bad thing? " I asked.

" You and him, kissed " she said.

" Yeah " I said.

" On the cheek? " She asked.

" No on the lips, that's how you kiss " I said.

" You guys having a thing? " She asked.

" No " I said.

" We have a lot of things to talk about " she sassed.

" Am I supposed to be scared? " I asked.

" No but you should be " she said.

" Okay " I said awkwardly.

The door then opens, I turn to see May.

" I need to talk to you " she said.

" We're not done talking " Nicole said.

I roll my eyes away.

" See you next time " I said, she winks.

I grab my bag and exit as I close the door.

" What's wrong? " I asked.

" Tanya's step mom got into a car crash " she turns to May's room door.

I put down my bag on the couch and slowly walk over there. I see the door has a small gap, I peek through and see Tanya's back facing me.

She's on the phone.

" Okay " she's in tears.

I push the door open and she ends the call, she turns around.

" She's gone, and I don't know anymore, everyone's dying around me " she burst in tears.

I pull her in a hug, May joins and we pull apart.

" You have us " I said.

" You can go, I can take care of Nicole " May said.

" Thank you " she wipe her tears and I hug her once more time.

" Everything's going to be alright " I said.

We pull apart and exit the room with May, I shut the door and sighed.
