"Okay Brayden. You gotta tell me where we're going?" I sighed unimpressed. The last time he "tried" to surprise me, it didn't turn out so we'll."Okay I know last time was a huge mistake but this time I swear you'll like it."
"Yeah... but all we have to do is work for our project!" I yelled shaking out my pairbook case.
"I know! I know, but it'll help us work faster trust me." He smirked as he continued driving.
"It doesn't require some type of drug or anything right?" I asked getting slightly worried.
"What the heck? Of course not. W-what kind of question is that." He asked as he started to drive off the road.
"Umm Brayden I-
"Okay were here!" He smiled as he put the car on parked.
I looked around to realize we were in the middle of absolutely nowhere.
"Uhh Brayden I-
"Trust me." He smiled as he brought his hand. I took one last deep breath and got out the car.
"WOAH!"
"Brayden this is- this is...- How is this going to help with the project?" I asked confusingly as he started laughing.
"It's not really. But it's a calmer area so I guess it'll get us less distracted." He shrugged as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me to a nearby tree. I sat underneath it as I smiled smelling nature's fresh air lovingly.
"Okay this is actually kinda cool." I smiled as I opened up my pairbook. I tried opening up my files but it didn't work... Dang it! I forgot we need wifi for almost everything now!
"Uhh Brayden I don't have any wi-
"On it." He then grabbed my pair book and started typing and clicking stuff. Once he was done my files were open perfectly normally. I looked at him confused as he showed me his phone. "You're connected to my hotspot now. He shrugged as I nodded my head understanding.
Dumb butt.
"Okay." I clapped my hands excitedly. "We were left off to what kind of Car we would get and all the financial stuff like that and we're done!" I slightly smiled as I was proud of us two.
"Hey Char?"
"Yeah?"
"What's wrong?" He asked closing his own pairbook.
What? How did he- I smiled and shrugged it off saying everything was perfectly okay.
"No I seriously doubt that. If I know you correctly, you would've at least tried to see if I didn't hack your pairbook." He shrugged.
"So... you didn't hack my computer?" I paused as he rolled his eyes "Everything's fine. And besides we have to turn this in TOMORROW." I scoffed. I looked up at him. He held a skeptical look on his face causing me to give in.
"Okay, I don't know... if I'm really suppose to tell you but. No I'm not really fine." I sighed frowning.
"Why what's wrong?" He asked as he put his own pairbook to the side.
"Well... it's about me and Henry sorta.." I started.
"He's not causing you any problems is he?" He asked almost angrily as I quickly shook my head no.
"Actually I think I'm the one causing problems." I paused looking up at him. Maybe I've said too much...
"Okay... go on."
I hesitated... but it's for the best.... "He seems as if he's ready to take it to the next "step" into our relationship but I'm just not ready... and I really don't want to disappoint him." I sighed rolling my eyes on how embarrassing this is.
"Did he... say he was disappointed?" Brayden asked looking at me. He held a look of concern and understanding that just made me want to tell him even more... think Charlotte! Flipping think!
"Okayy maybe I've said too much." I chuckled as I quickly shook my head and turned my direction towards my pairbook once again.
"No Charlotte tell me what happened." He said quickly as he put a hand on my shoulder. I looked at him confused. But continued.
"He didn't "say" he was dissapointed. But... I don't know." I shrugged thinking. "Maybe I can do something embarrassing to be equal with him? I don't know." I shrugged chuckling as I looked down at the perfectly green grass.
"Hey Char?"
"Yeah?"
Before I could get the time to look up. I quickly felt Brayden's lips pushed against mine. I mentally screamed at myself as I kept my eyes open in shock not knowing what to do.
A couple seconds went by giving me the time to notice what was happening. I quickly pushed him off of me and wiped my lips in disgust. "BRAYDEN WHAT THE HECK?" I yelled. I quickly got up and grabbed all my things. I looked back down to realize Brayden held a proud smirk on his face. I scoffed as he got up.
"Well that was nice now wasn't it?" He continued smirking as he got up and walked towards me. I sarcastically smiled and slapped him hard across the cheek. "Go home I don't need to see your ugly face anymore." I scoffed as I started to call an Uber.
"Oh come on Baby. You know you liked it."
"I said get out of my face "Noah"." I air quoted as he shrugged and walked away to his car.
WHAT AN ASS WHAT AM I GONNA DO NOW HENRY'S GONNE KILL THE BOTH OF US. What am I gonna do? I literally told him don't ruin things between us but here I am! As I RUINED THINGS? He's gonna think I'm a hypocrite? What if he breaks up with me! I don't want that!
Even though I was LITERALLY THE ONE WHO BROUGHT IT UP IN THE FIRST PLACE! Henry's gonna hate me forever! I can't tell him!
I won't tell him.
"Uhh Hello? Anyone there?" A voice spoke threw the phone.
"Oh yeah sorry... Uhh can you come pick me up at... Wait a second sir." I paused as I searched around for Brayden. "Yo! Asshole! Where are we?" I yelled as I found him.
"We're at Mountainfest." He sighed as he got in his car. I waited a couple of seconds and told the Uber driver.
"I'm at some place called Mountainfest."
"Oh okay I'll come pick you up in a jiffy." He said politely as I hung up.
Brayden was starting to drive away as I flipped him the bird. He just chuckled and drove away...
