I walked in my dorm room excitedly thinking about my 'hangout' with Brayden. I have got to tell Henry! But before that. I have to ask him when's gonna be my first shift! And how much is it gonna pay... or what exactly I'm gonna be doing... dang I did not think this threw.

But of course if Henry's been working there technically half of his life then it must be paying good...

"9 BUCKS PER HOUR?" I yelled as I slammed my pear laptop shut.

"Yeah isn't that cool?" He smiles taking an apple from the fruit bowl.

"Not at all! Henry? Has he been paying you 9 bucks since 8th grade?" I asked concerned as I opened my laptop once again.

"Umm... no?" He replies rubbing his arm.

"Oh great! How much does he pay you know?" I smiled searching up Junk N' Stuff.

"12bucksanhour." He murmured.

"What?"

"12bucksper hour." He said a little louder but not loud enough for me to completely understand what he said.

"12 bucks per hour okay!" He yelled out as I hung my mouth open in shock.

"12 bucks an hour and you've been working there for almost... how many years again?" I pulled my ear out sarcastically.

"Almost 7 years." He mumbled.

I looked at him in shock and put my hand on my chest.

"Wow that hurts." I say as I roll my eyes. "Hey look. Here it says the main cashier is someone named Gooch." I turned my laptop around for Henry to look at it.

"Oh yeah! I remember him." He smiled taking a bite of his apple.

"Well I've never seen him."

"Yeah. I haven't seen him since the first season." He shrugged.

"You mean spring?"

"Yep!" He smirked mischievously taking another bite of his apple.

"Okay... anyways we have to tell Ray about your payment issue." I sighed closing the website for Junk N' Stuff.

"Oh come on Charlotte 12 bucks an hour isn't that bad to be honest, since I am there technically all the time."

"Okay. Fine. i guess If you don't have a problem with it. Then I'll just let it go." I lifted my arms up in surrender before my phone buzzed on the counter.

I picked it up and realized it was Brayden. I have got to change his contact name.
