"dad?" i say walking down stairs

Jace is still in my room and we really want to go and watch a movie

well we really just want to be alone but what my dad doesn't know won't hurt him

i walk up to Kayleigh who walked down the stairs after putting Ryland for a nap and i hug her

i see my dad is watching and i know what to say

"can me and Jace go to the movies please. you and daddy can stay here and have some time to be with each other and ryland"

"of course you can go to the movies why'd you ask"

i run up the stairs and into my room

"kayleigh's gonna bring us!"

"oh he was upset at first but then i convinced Kayleigh and well he's still upset"

"he's going to hate you"

"no he won't now come on before my dad convinces her to change her mind"

and they meet at a restaurant with her being the waitress
