I drop off Rae at school and rush to Kayleigh's diner

"Hi have you seen Kayleigh" I ask the person out front after I run into the diner

"You must be Daniel, I'm Anne Kayleigh's grandmother. She told me about you and she told me not to let you know where she is. However, you seem like a nice guy so here's her address. I suggest you go and say everything you need immediately before she slams the door in your face"

"Thank you so much." I take the address and turn to leave

"Oh and Daniel" her grandmother says before I leave

"Yeah" I turn around

"Good luck. I know my granddaughter and she doesn't make things easy for you when you're apologizing"

"Thank you for the advice have a nice day"

"You too and again good luck" I laugh and leave the restaurant

I run to my car and get to her house as fast as I can

Wow her house is smaller than I remember I mean you don't really know what people's houses look like when you're crying for your daughter

I knock on the door and she opens it, her eyes teary and red meaning she was crying

She tries to shut the door but I put my leg in it

"Daniel please leave"

"No I can't not now... listen I made a mistake I understand we just met and I shouldn't expect you to tell me something that is clearly big. And I know sharing a secret is totally different than being in a house with someone. So I'm sorry can we please be friends. Whatever you are going through if you are going through something I will help you. You've done so much for me in these past hours of knowing and meeting you and I couldn't be more thankful. Can you please forgive me"

"What else can I do. I'll do anything just please"

"Go on a date with me" she smiles

"Are you sure"

"Okay then lets go on a date"

"Can I change and you know not look as if I've been crying for hours"

"You can wait here or outside I guess"

"Actually can I come in?"

She lets me in and her house is surprisingly beautiful. It is amazingly decorated and I'm surprised

"If I sit will I ruin this"

"It looks really clean and I don't want to make it a mess"
