"You can get whatever you want" I tell Rae as we walk into Target

"Anything?"

"Yup"

"YAY!!!"

She speeds down the store and I chase after her

"Woah wait for me" I say catching up

"Can you hold me?"

"Sure"

I pick her up and we walk to the back of the store

"Should I get a toy or a dress?"

"You decide it's your gift"

"Oooo look" she gasps and points to a Belle from Beauty and the Beast dress

"Ooo it's pretty"

We walk over to where the dress is and she looks at it in awe

"Do you like it?"

"I love it."

"Well then let's get it"

We bring the dress to the dressing room and she tries it on

"Kayleigh can you help me"

"Sure"

"Rae you look absolutely beautiful" I tell her once the whole thing is on

"Thank you I really like this"

"Well let's get it okay"

"Yay but I still want to look at the toys and see if anything's better"

"Smart girl"

"So I like this but I like the dress UGH Kay Kay what do I do" Rae says throwing herself at me it's hard to explain like she hugged her but not an actual hug if that makes sense

"Which one do you like the most"

"I don't know I like them both."

"Can i see how much this toy is?"

She hands me the toy she wants and it's super cheap. Honestly the toy and the dress combined is less than 50 dollars

"Well let's get them both"

"WHAT!!!! Daddy never lets me get two things"

"Well Daddy isn't here right now so who's stopping us"

"I LOVE YOU KAY KAY"

She throws the toy in the cart and jumps up to hug me

I catch her and she giggles

"You're my best friend" she tells me

"Good because your mine"

I kiss her cheek and she giggles

The few people around us look at us adoringly

"Can we bake a cake tonight?!?!" She asks

"Of course we can. Didn't you want to make friendship bracelets too"

"Yes yes yes"

We go to the arts and crafts section and she finds some beads that she likes

She also gets a bunch of string and puts all of it in the cart

"Okay all done now cake"

We go over to the baking area and she picks out a chocolate cake

"Hehe daddy hates chocolate"

"How could he. I need to talk to him about that"

"Please do. He NEVER buys me chocolate and I LOVE chocolate"

"Wow I can't believe it"
