Family dinner

3rd POV

The Sprouse and the Reinhart family had been family friends for the longest time.

But 10 years ago the Sprouse family moved to Canada and were coming back to New York.

They were all settled in and had a dinner planned out at the Reinhart's. The dads and moms kept touch, but the children had completely lost touch.

They used to be friends at once, but last when they talked to each other was when they were awkward teenagers.

Cole had turned to become a business man and Lili was an actress.

Lili had moved out after college, and so she booked an uber.

The whole Sprouse family had reached before Lili.

Everyone was waiting for her arrival, one person in specific.

Cole PoV

I reached the Reinhart's on time, and everyone had reached except Lili.

She always used to talk about being an actress, and well she turned out to be one, and a very successful one too.

"Amy, won't Lili be joining us?" I asked Amy.

"She'll be reaching anytime Cole" she said with a smile.

the bell rang a few moment later, and Amy went to open the door.

I looked at her after like 10 years, and she is simply gorgeous.

She met my mom, dad, dylan and then me.

"Heyyy Cole, long time" Lili said and hugged me.

" yeah long time" I replied.

we all enjoyed dinner and caught up with everyone's lives after so long.

the dinner got over, and all of us decided to leave since it had got pretty late.

" I have an early day at set, I'll also leave" lili said and I saw her booking a cab.

"I can drop you" I initiated.

"Oh but I actually live on the 14th Avenue"

"oh I live close by, it's on the way"

"Perfect" she replied and we both said everyone a good bye.

It was a 40 minute drive and those 40 minutes just passed by in a second.
it was great just talking to her, without our family's present.

Lili PoV

It was a 40 minute drive till my apartment and I enjoyed it so much.

I forgot how fun he was to be around and how easy it was to talk to him.

"Thanks for the drive" I said as we reached my apartment.

" no problem, do you wanna meet-up someday maybe?" He asked.

"are you asking me on a date Mr. Sprouse" I flirted a little.

" kind of" he replied

" it would be my pleasure to go out with you"

I gave him a quick peck on his cheeks and got out of the car.

" see you soon"

" I'll pick you up tomorrow at 8PM" he said.

" I am looking forward to it"

"give me a call once you reach home"

" I don't have your number" he said chuckling.
