Once I make it to my apartment building, I lock the doors of my car and run up the steps, quickly unlocking the door to find Levi and Hanji sitting at the kitchen table.
And her hair's still on her head.
       Out of breath, I close the door as they both look at me. My hair has fallen a good bit from its ponytail and now it's a mess. Whatever. I'm glad Hanji's okay.
       Levi sits there for a moment, staring at me. Then he suddenly gets up and pins me against the door. "Wherever you been, brat?"
       My eyes widen as I remember the bag of rings that I'm holding behind my back. I gently push Levi out of the way and hide the bag until I get to my room, locking the door behind me.
       Sighing in relief, I take out the ring cases and set them out on the floor. Wow. That's crazy.
       My door gets pounded on by Hanji, who's freaking out. "GURL YOU LEFT ME WITH THIS FREAK!"
       Levi scoffs loudly. "I'm the freak?"
       Biting my lip, I put the rings back into the bag and quietly set them in my closet. I hope no one finds these, I basically pray.
       Upon unlocking the door, I am jumped by Hanji, who's got me in her tight grasp. This catches me by surprise, and I watch as Levi kicks her off of me. "Tch."
       Pulling me up, he plants a kiss on my lips. "Don't run off like that again,"
       This makes me roll my eyes. I walk away from him and help Hanji up. She takes my hand gratefully and exclaims, "THE CLUB WAS FUN! Levi was winked at by a middle-aged fella while we were there,"
       Glancing at Levi, I notice the fresh disgust on his face and laugh at him. He glares at both of us but I honestly don't care. "You know it's Hanji's birthday tomorrow, right?" I ask him once I regain control of myself.
He isn't phased by this statement, even though I know this is the first time he's hearing of this. What a hoe.
       My eyes wander to everywhere but him. I hear him exhale in annoyance and then he's right in front of me. "Don't ignore me, brat," he growls.
       Stubborn little me doesn't look at him as I reply, "What will you do about it?"
       Hanji basically saves me because Levi won't do anything while someone's around. He turns on his heel and walks out.
Facing Hanji, I smile at her. "Thank you," I tell her.
Confusion is written all over her face. "What?"
I simply pull her into a hug and fortunately, she hugs me back. "I'm really glad your hair's still attached," I joke as I let her go.
She grins at me. "Yeah, I really thought he was about to kill me," placing a hand on her hip, she tells me, "I hope you got good plans for tomorrow."
I nod at her. "Don't worry. I do." Glancing at the time on the stove, I learn that it's 5:41. Then I wonder if I could skip college tomorrow.
Maybe.
Probably not.

       Grabbing my phone from the back of my shorts, I head to my room and set it on my nightstand. The room is kinda messy so I decide to quickly clean it up. Once I'm satisfied, I grab my phone and see a message from Levi.

Levi
What's the big plan for tomorrow?

       I reply to him after thinking for a moment.

Me
I dunno if I should tell you tehe
Delivered 5:44

He starts to reply right away. I grab my purse in the meantime and debate on what I should do with the rest of the money.

Levi
Let me guess. You spent a lot of money on it.

I gasp. How could he know that?!

Me
Are you a psychic?!

Levi
No, you idiot. A (insert jewelry store name) receipt fell out of your pocket. You're lucky Hanji didn't notice.

I breathe a sigh of relief.
