The journey home was an awkward one.

Arisu mostly ignored everyone as she walked silently.

'My duty as Kage...'

She still had one mission.

She was to find and kill the man who murdered her father.

Her face darkened and her chakra signature flickered ominously.

Kakashi glanced at the white haired girl as he sensed her chakra.

"Arisu?" Sasuke called out.

"What?" She snapped coldly.

He wasn't expecting her hostile reply.

Arisu sighed and lessened her tone, "what is it?"

"Pay attention." He told her, "stop zoning out."

She clicked her tongue and nodded curtly. She never zoned out.

She had a debt. Nothing more, nothing less. Once that was done and over with, she could resume her work.

Perhaps...just perhaps the last Uchiha would inevitably lead her to the murderer of her father.

She just needed patience.

Once they finally returned to Konoha. Arisu immediately split off from the group.

"I have no time for this..." she scowled.

Why was the Hokage making her do all this genin work when she, herself is above the rank of even anbu?

It was just a waste of time.

Kakashi sighed. Their teamwork had been really bad recently. Sasuke and Naruto were always bickering. Sakura only cared about Sasuke and Arisu seemed to be more distant.......not that she was ever close but still!

It really was concerning.

Arisu was always in a bad mood.

Speaking of Arisu...

"Have you seen your teammate?" Kakashi asked.

Naruto and Sasuke stopped bickering and turned to Kakashi.

"Who?" Naruto asked in reply.

"Arisu!" Sakura scowled as she smacked him on the head.

"Hn. Dobe." Sasuke sighed.

"Itai!"

"Anyways." Kakashi said, "I'm nominating you guys for chunin."

Naruto looked ready to start worshipping the Hatake.

"Thank-!"

"But I can't force you." He continued, "the written and practical test is hard."

Naruto deflated, "Test?!"

"Hn."

"Oh! And if you see Arisu can you tell her?" Kakashi asked.

"I'll tell her." Sighed Sasuke.

Meanwhile Arisu was standing before Hiruzen who looked grim.

"Suna is coming to participate in the exams." He started, "I think you should temporarily leave your team to oversee the chunin exams."

Arisu knew exactly what he was implying-the betrayal of Suna.

"What shall I tell them?" She asked politely.
