Edward :

" I'm sorry." I said not too loud

Diana looked up and stared at my face for a few seconds

" What?" Diana asked in a state of confusion

" I'm sorry for the way I behaved in Jess' house today. I almost yelled at you." I said

"Oh...no.....it's " Diana started speaking but I interrupted her

" I'm sorry for the way I behaved in school earlier today. I'm sorry for the way I picked at you in front of Manuel. It should have been very embarrassing and awkward and hurtful to You." I spoke out

Diana didn't say a word. I was looking at her. She looked up at me and looked down at her hands as she was fidgeting with them. She looked anxious yet beautiful. The way her hair was moving in sync with the light breeze made it seem like magic to me. I kept on staring at her while one part of my mind was admiring her beauty while the other part was waiting for her reply.

" Diana.....please say something.." I plead

She looks up with those light brown eyes piercing through mine.

" It's alright Edward....it's.....absolutely not a problem." She gives me a faint smile.

"Diana......I'm Sorry......" I say again

" It's alright Edward.....trust me....." Diana says

" Will you please listen to me....." I make some uneasy moves on the bench as I sat face to face with Diana

Diana nods.

" I'm sorry......Im sorry for everything...." I mutter

Diana opens her mouth to speak but says nothing. I didn't blame her though.

" I'm sorry D.....I really am.....I want to apologise for all the things that I've been doing to you since the past three years. Diana, Im......sorry.....I really mean it....please believe me...." I look at Diana who was looking back at me. Her brown eyes were becoming glossy

" Why ? " Diana speaks with the lowest tone which is familiar to me. She was hurt.

"I was blinded Diana...these three years....have been really hard for me." I say

" Hard for you ? No Edward, they weren't hard for you. They were hard for me. You made them hard for me." She looked at me and I could see her clenching her jaw and blinking too quick. She raised her voice but again, I don't blame her.

Was there anyway I could tell her what an idiot I am ?

" Diana.....that's why I called you with me. I want to speak to you.....I want you to listen to me...."

"Listen to you ? What is there it speak to me about Edward ? Are you going to tell me that you were busy because you got a girlfriend or you're going to tell me...." Diana spoke breathlessly but she paused when I kept my hand oh hers while they were on her knees.

She looked at me.

" It's not what you think it is ! " I voice out.

" Then what is it?" Diana speaks back

I looked around to see if anyone was there but much to my comfort, there was no one.

Before I could start, I closed both my eyes and took a deep breath.

" Today when Jess told us the way our relationship....I mean friendship....was an example to her. When she said how we shaped her into the person she's become. When she said that we were the no less than a couple....." I looked deep into Diana's eyes and I could sense her emotions. She became red. She was looking in the same intensity as me.
