Diana:

It was the second week of school. I still couldn't believe that I was helping Edward in his studies. I had to teach him even though I didn't like him that much. But now I was getting used to him because we haven't spent so much of time together ever since our friendship turned meaningless.

"Calvin's doing pretty okay....I don't really know if he can understand anything....but he seems fine." Angelo says confused as he is sitting in front of me as we were waiting for Oli

"Edward's doing fine too." I comment

"Olivia's here." Angelo says as he looks at the door

"Oh....Hi babe." I wink at Olivia as I get up from her seat and I make way for her.

"Nah....just sit here....I'll sit in your place." Oli forces me to sit in her place

"No...Oli...it's alright..." I oppose

"Diana! C'mon...even I want to sit with Edward Rephlin. He's hot!" Oli admires my benchmate

"He has a girlfriend Olivia!" Angelo says seriously as he was quite all this while

"So...." Oli is triggered

"So...stop checking him out." Angelo says with a little tension

"Woah...okay....Oli.....and...Gelo.....calm it..." I become the peacemaker

"Whatever...I'm sitting with Edward." Oli says and she walks to the place where I sit with Edward.

"What's with your bestfriend?" Angelo inquire

"No clue!" I shrug

I saw Edward coming in from the door and this girl called Giselle was flirting with him.

"Edward's lucky man!" Angelo grumbles

I let out a laugh "why so?"

"I mean...girls are crazy for him..." he sighs "he's like this...popular and perfect guy a girl want's....he's hot...like Olivia said. Just look at him."

I shifted my glance to Edward and I knew what Angelo said was absolutely right

"You are one heck of a lucky girl....you help him...." Angelo says as I'm still staring at Edward who is still talking to Giselle and giggling.

"Nah....I just help him Gelo....I'm not lucky..."

"Shit...he's coming this way....act normal.." Angelo stops me

Edward just passes by us and he waves at me.

"Okay..he is hot!" Angelo says

Angelo and I have a random conversation for 5 minutes straight.

"Yeah...but that's what she said right?" I say to Angelo as we're speaking a random conversation. But Angelo doesn't respond to me. Instead, his eyes look straight above my head

"Hey Gelo!!! Can you please talk to me?" I snap my fingers in front of his eyes.

"No...you talk to me." A deep voice says from behind

I turn to look and my eyes meet a blue shirt. When I look up I see Edward Rephlin

"Yeah?" I ask as I get up from my seat

"Why aren't you in our place?" He says emphasisng on the 'our' word

"Cause...." I stammer

"It's not that I want to sit with you but it's that....I....have to and need to sit with you." Edward said looking into my eyes as could sense the minty fragrance from Edwards mouth and pierce through his emerald green eyes.

Hearing those words gave me chills. I was feeling really awkward because Angelo was sitting beside me and he heard the conversation.

"C'mon....I'm sending Olivia Zelleger back.....and...." he said to me and then he peeped behind me to talk to Angelo

"Hey...Angelo.....man....tell your benchmate that I need to sit with Diana Fernaux."

I saw Edward walking back to our place and telling some words to Oli as she was smiling.

"What was that?" Angelo says as he pokes me on the arm and gives me a wicked smile

"Uh.....my....death call" I said

"Nah.....I know what it is!" Angelo's voice says with confidence

"What?" I anticipate. I didn't want to hear some lame "crush" thing or whatever "Don't tell me some lame thing Gelo!"

"Nooo....." he gives me relief.

He comes close to me and he wishpers "It's for SCB. If your partner and you are in the same class, y'all have to sit together."

I look at him with arched eyebrows. But I get a pat on the shoulder.

"Your bench mate sent me to call you." Oli says and I turn to look at Edward who is calling me and patting the seat next to him asking me to sit.

"Oh...kay...so...you better go.....before he comes here again" Angelo insists

"Yeah" I say and I leave

I go and flop down my chair when Edward was fidgetting with his phone.
"Hi." He says and he fidgets with his phone again
Before I could say anything the whole class stands and I assume our lecturer is here
"Good morning Ma'am " our class says in union even though we didn't have an idea of who she was and Edward was busy shoving his Iphone X in his bag.

"Good morning Class. Please sit down."

"Pssst...who is she?" Edward wispers

"My aunt!" I say sarcastically

"Wow! Are you serious!"

"No you dumbo! Find it out yourself instead of shoving your phone." I reply

"She's Mrs. Shanton from the department of Statistics." Edwards puts me in shock

I just look at him with the same shocked face when I heard about her from him

"How....How do you know?" I question in shock

He laughed softy and said "Find it out yourself instead of sitting with Angelo."

Ugh!!!!! This guy!!!!
