After finishing my shift at work I made my way to the store I always went to, to do some grocery shopping. Normally I hated things like that but I kind of liked the store, so it was alright. And I wanted to eat something as well, so I had to do it anyways.

I entered the store and was greeted by one of the employees. He was about my age, maybe a bit older and always seemed to be happy. People around him were always put in a good mood while talking to him and he was always friendly.

I felt his gaze on me while I walked around looking for the stuff I needed but I didn't mind.
"Can I help you?", a voice beside me suddenly asked. I turned around just to see the employee's face.

I wanted to decline his offer but at seconds thought I might be faster that way and could go home faster.
So I nodded and said: "Sure, why not?"

"What else do you need?", he asked friendly.
I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper where I had written all the things down that I needed.

Smiling I handed it to him and said: "I only have the vegetables and the bread yet."
"Alright, let's go get the rest", he smiled and accompanied me on my way through the shop.

"Can I ask what your name is?", he suddenly asked and I nodded.
"I'm Y/N. And you?"
"I'm Hoseok."
"Nice to meet you", I smiled.

"Well, it's nice to meet you too. You come here often, don't you?", he asked.
"I do. The store is on my way home and I kind of like it here. But how do you know?", I asked, making him blush a bit.

"Well, I... Uhm... You... You sort of stand out of other people to me, so I always notice when you're here. I just never had the guts to talk to you because I thought you might not like me", he said, scratching the back of his head nervously.

"How come you think I wouldn't like you?", I asked and smiled in amusement.
"I don't know.. you always seem so distracted", he said shrugging.
"I am. But only because I concentrate to not forget anything", I laughed.

"Well, that makes sense", he said and grinned.
"But you kind of stood out to me as well. I always saw you laughing with other people or colleagues when I'm here. It sort of fascinates me how you never seem to be in a bad mood", I said and looked at him.

He laughed and said: "I get that told quite a lot. But I just try to have fun, I don't know. Why should I even be in a bad mood, when I can also make the best out of things?"

"I like that attitude. Most people nowadays are narcissistic and just care for their own good. But you seem to be the total opposite", I smiled.

"Thank you. But I think you don't fit in that pattern as well. Or at least it seems like you don't", he said.
"I try not to fit in it. But sometimes it just won't work out quite as I want it to I guess", I said and got the next thing I needed from a shelf.

"I think you're doing quite well right now", he grinned.
"But now I'm in a good mood, so it's not that hard", I said.

"I bet you're not too bad when you're in a bad mood", he smiled and looked at me.
"You don't wanna know", I laughed. "I'm like a monster in the body of a girl."

He laughed and got the next thing for me from off a shelf.
"But right now you're pretty cute, so I think dealing with you when you're in a bad mood can't be too bad", he then said and grinned.

I didn't know where he suddenly got the confidence from, but I liked it. Blushing I mumbled a 'thank you'. Now I was the one to get shy, which seemed to be quite amusing for him.

"And now you're just adorable", he laughed, making me blush even more.
"Are you sure that that's appropriate? Since I'm a customer", I said and tried to calm down so my face would turn into my normally pale skin tone again.

"Well, you could've just said that you don't want it. But since you're constantly blushing, it doesn't seem like you want me to stop", he teased grinning.

"You know what? I like you", I laughed and looked at him.
"Thank you", he laughed and got the next thing for me.

"But you're not so bad yourself", he then said.
"I know. I'm absolutely awesome in every way", I grinned, making him slap my arm lightly.
"That was too much", he laughed.
"Too much? It wasn't nearly enough to describe me", I joked.

"You're making me regret that I didn't have the guts to speak to you earlier. So stop being all cute and narcissistic", he laughed.
"I'm trying to, but that's just the way I am", I laughed and he shook his head in amusement.

"I think I'm about to throw up", Hoseok laughed.
"You better not, or else you might lose your job", I grinned.
"Right. I just say you were the one throwing up then."
"Blaming others isn't the solution."

"But it's a good way", Hoseok grinned and put the last thing I needed in the shopping cart.
"If you say so", I laughed.
"That's all you need right?", he asked and looked at me. I took a quick glance at the shopping cart and then nodded.

"Yes. If not I will come again tomorrow", I said and shrugged.
"I'd like that", he grinned cheekily.
"I wouldn't. I want to go home and sleep", I laughed.

"That sounds quite good as well", Hoseok said and walked to the checkout with me.
"I don't have enough money to afford coming here every day", I laughed.

"You could come here and not but anything", he laughed and started to scan my things.
"And why would I do that?", I asked amused.
"Maybe because of the friendly guy who works here. I heard he would love to see you more often", Hoseok grinned.

"Well he seems to be quite cheesy", I grinned. "So I don't know if I could stand seeing him more often."
"I tell him that. But I also heard that he wanted to ask you for your number. Maybe if you give it to me, I can give it to him", Hoseok said angel like and smiled sweetly.

I hesitated for a few seconds, but Hoseok seemed like a nice guy so I gave in and nodded.
"Sure, why not?", I grinned, took out a piece of paper and a pen and wrote down my phone number. I smiled and handed it to him afterwards.

"But make sure your coworker gets it and not some pervert", I grinned and he took it.
"I will. I'm sure he will write to you later", he grinned and thanked me then.

Smiling I paid my bill and was about to head out of the store when Hoseok stopped me.
"Y/N", he said and grabbed my arm.
I turned around to face him.
"What?", I asked quite confused.

"I was wondering if.. if you would go out with me some time?", he asked shyly.
"You or your coworker?", I grinned amusedly.
"Well, both of us since we're the same person", Hoseok grinned.

"Really?", I asked, acting surprised and shocked. We both burst out into laughter and I nodded after a while.
"I'd love to go out with you sometime", I said.

"Perfect! I'll call you tonight alright?", he smiled.
"Don't forget it. I will be waiting for it", I grinned and he nodded.
"Thank you for visiting our store. I hope you come back soon. Have a nice day", he said his usual slogan, making both of us laugh again.

"Goodbye Hoseok", I smiled sweetly and walked out of the store. After glancing at my phone I realized that I nearly spent an hour at the store, but while talking to Hoseok, I totally forgot the time.

Usually, I was always glad when I was able to get home. But today I could have easily spent another hour in the store without realizing it, all thanks to Hoseok.
