I was waiting in my office for my new client. Actually, he wasn't that new. I worked with BTS before and all of them were great guys.

A few days ago Kim Taehyung asked me to help him with his solo album and I happily agreed. It was always fun to work with them, especially because they were about my age.

My dad was a producer as well and he kind of raised me into that job. So for a few years now, I worked with him at his business.

I was deep in thoughts when someone knocked at the door.
"Come in", I said and looked at the door.
It got opened by a smiling Taehyung.
"Hey Y/N!", he said excitedly.

"Tae! Come on in, have a seat", I smiled and leaned back.
After we talked about regular stuff we started to talk about his plans concerning his solo album.

"How come you want to do a solo album anyways?", I asked curiously.
He shrugged and said: "I don't know. I just thought it was time to write my own feelings down."

"Have you thought of any lyrics or samples yet?", I asked.
He nodded and pulled out a bunch of papers of his bag. He smiled and handed them to me.
"You're fine with me reading it?", I asked, just to make sure.

"Sure silly! Go ahead", he laughed.
I leaned back and started to read the lyrics he wrote down. Although it could use improvements in some parts, the words were really touching. You could tell by reading it that he truly meant what he wrote.

"Tae those are beautiful", I said after I finished and looked up at him.
"I'm not sure about some parts of I'm honest. But thank you", he smiled.

"You know what I like about you guys?", I said.
"That we're all talented, good looking and absolutely lovely?", Tae asked.
"You wish! No, I love that you're not afraid to tell others how you really feel. That you make yourselves vulnerable towards the whole world. I think those lyrics you wrote are really brave. I wouldn't want anyone to know such things about me."

"Well, I want to be authentic. And I think our fans deserve to know all of this. I don't care if I get criticized, because they still don't know the real me, no matter what lyrics I write. A part of the real me will always be hidden to the world", he said.

"I didn't know you could be so... philosophical", I said and looked at him.
"You don't know a lot of things about me. That's what I just explained to you. Even my hyungs don't know everything about me. The only one who does is me."

I just nodded because I wasn't sure what to say. But all of this made him quite interesting.

"Got any ideas how you want it to sound yet?", I asked after a few moments of silence.
He nodded and smiled.
"Go on then. I want to hear your ideas", I smiled and handed him the papers.

He took them and looked through them until he found what he was searching for.
"That one is my favorite", he smiled and read the words on the paper once again before he started singing to show me his vision of the song.

I listened to his voice and closed my eyes for a little while to not focus on anything else. He finished and I started clapping.
"Boy, you have talent", I laughed.
"I know", he grinned cockily.

I shook my head and laughed before I took the paper from him. I read it a few times more before I took a pencil and made some notes. We spent about an hour discussing what we could improve because he himself wasn't quite happy with some parts.

"Let's go make a sample", I smiled and stood up. He stood up as well and we made our way to the studio. I sat down at the desk and started the laptop while Tae started goofing around.

"Come on now, we still got work to do. And it's your song", I said and looked at him.
"Yes mom", he replied and I laughed. He sat down next to me and we started working on a sample for his song.

We spent hours trying out different things. The later it got, the sleepier I got. I tried to stay awake and focus on our work but I ended up falling asleep with my head resting on Tae's shoulder.

He smiled when he realized that I was asleep but he didn't bother waking me up. Instead, he continued working on his own until it sounded perfect to him.

Excitedly he looked at me and gently woke me up. I yawned and looked at him.
"What time is it?", I asked confused.
"Midnight", he replied and laughed.
"What? God, Tae I'm sorry!", I apologized immediately.

"Shut up and listen", he laughed and played his sample. I listened to it and looked at him. His eyes met mine and he was totally proud of himself and excited for me to hear it.

"It's great Tae. It totally reflects the message of the lyrics in a way, yet it's not depressing. It's perfect", I smiled.
"I know right? I wanna finish the song", he said and stood up.

I nodded and he walked into the recording studio with his lyrics sheet.
"Ready?", I asked as soon as he looked like he was ready. He gave me a thumbs up and I started the music.

He didn't need many attempts until the singing was done.
"I need to cut it but then we're done with the song", I smiled when he came back into the room.

"Let me help you", he said and sat down next to me again. I smiled and we worked about one more hour until the song was done.

"Kim Taehyung, your first solo song is officially finished", I smiled and looked at him.
"It's great! Thank you so much!", he said and hugged me in excitement.
"Now I need some sleep", I laughed.

"I'm going to walk you home. You shouldn't be out alone in the middle of the night", Tae said.
"Alright, thank you", I smiled and nodded. We packed our things and went out of the building. The streets were totally empty and everything looked quite scary.

"Thank you for staying with me Y/N. It really means a lot", he suddenly said.
"Don't mention it", I smiled.
"Would you stay that long for all of your clients?", he asked.
"Definitely not", I replied honestly.

"So I'm special to you?", he grinned.
"Sure. Super special", I laughed. He grinned, took off his jacket and put it around my shoulders when he noticed the goosebumps on my arms.

I looked up to him and smiled.
"Thanks", I said.
"You know, you're special to me too", he grinned and put his arm around me, pulling me close.
I laughed, yawned and looked up to him.
Tae was really a great guy and I was lucky to be able to work with him.

We continued walking and soon reached my house.
"Thank you for walking me home", I said and stood right in front of him.
"No need to thank me for that", he smiled and looked me in the eyes.

"Your jacket", I said, took it off and gave it back to him.
"See you tomorrow?", he asked.
"Sure, we need to finish the other songs", I said and nodded.

We both smiled but none of us turned around to go. Instead, we stood close to each other, not saying a word.

Suddenly he pulled me towards him and pressed his lips on mine.
I needed a few moments until I realized what just happened and kissed him back. His lips were just as soft as I imagined them to be. I really enjoyed the moment with him before he pulled away and looked me in the eyes.

"See you tomorrow", he said and smiled.
I just nodded, not able to say a word.
"Good night", he smiled, placed a soft kiss on my forehead and turned around.
He walked the other way and soon disappeared into the black of the night.

That was the moment I knew, working with Kim Taehyung was going to be more fun than I had imagined.
