Chapter XLV: Coming Home.

Start from the beginning

To Afghanistan...

For a whole year.

She's working hard to stay alive and keep me happy, so I'm grateful.

I can't wait to see her tomorrow.

I'm so excited, I can't even sleep.

I looked down at my phone and a notification from Louis popped up.

-------------------------------------

Belouga: Hey Clemster. Did you talk to Violet yet?

Me: Yeah. She said she'll be at the airport at 9 am.

Belouga: Damn, that's a whole 10hour flight. I don't know how she does it.

Me: Well, she's been doing it since we graduated high school. After a while I guess she got used to it.

Belouga: The time is gonna fly by like no other. Try to get some rest, Clem.

Me: I can't. Can you and Aasim come over? I know I might be third wheeling, but still, I wanna see you guys.

Belouga: We aren't doing anything anyway. We'll be there in five.

Me: Okey-dokey. Drive safe.

Belouga: We're walking. You literally live down the street from us.

Belouga: We'll be there in five.

Me: Like I said; be safe.

Belouga: We will. We're already walking.

Me: The door is open.

-------------------

"Clem?" Louis knocked on my room door.

"Come in." I sat up on the bed excitedly watching him and Aasim walk in the door.

"Hey. You... You okay?" Aasim raised an eyebrow at me, sitting down on the bed next to me.

"I'm just happy. That's all." I shrugged my shoulders, looking at the tv.

"So, you guys wanna watch a movie?" Louis gave an adorable smile and joined us on the bed.

I know this sounds weird, but they made me feel safe.

I miss Violet...

I can't wait until she comes home.

------------------------------------

It's morning now.

The sun is peeking through the curtains...

It's beautiful.

Aasim and Louis are still here, sleeping right next to me, and per usual, I'm stuck in the middle.

It's crazy because I'm always stuck in the middle.

Especially the middle seat.

I looked over and checked the time.

1 pm.

....

...

IT'S ONE O'CLOCK.

WHERES VIOLET?

-----------

I ran down the steps, almost falling and looked around the living room like a kid on Christmas.

There she was.

Sitting on the couch in her uniform.

She looked up from her food and stood up with her arms out.

I jumped down the rest of the steps and tackled her.

"You're home!" I cried, wrapping my legs around her waist.

"I'm here for good too."

That just made me cry more.

I buried my face into her shoulder, holding on to her for dear life.

"I missed you so much." She exhaled, wrapping her arms around my back.

"Please don't leave me, Violet. I love you so much."

"I told you, I'm here to stay." She chuckled, rocking me in her arms.

"You promise?"

"No, because I would lie about that and risk losing my head." She sarcastically replied.

"I promise." She sat down on the couch with me latched onto her.

"Why didn't you wake me up when you got here?" I furrowed my eyebrows at her, giving her a disappointed look.

"I tried to wake you up, but you were knocked out cold, so I just let you be."

"Of course I was. I was up until 4 am with them watching Marvel movies. They remind me of you and you love them."

(If you know who's story I stole that from, you a real one^)

"Dork." She scoffed before kissing me softly.

It felt so magical.

"I missed that... so much. Can I have another one?" She wiggled her eyebrows bringing delight to my heart.

I initiated the kiss this time.

It felt so unreal...

Like I was dreaming.

This is all I ever wanted.

------------------

I might do a part two to this... where the rest of the group gets to see her and see how she's changed (In a good way) and they try to break her back into her old self. I just might do it.
