I jump up and down happily as Charlie knocks on Bebe's door. I giggled as the door swings open now and Charlie enters first with two presents. One wrapped and one not wrapped.
"Happy Birthday!" I cheered before running over and crashing into Bebe, hugging her tightly. I laughed loudly as she sighed but hugged me back.
"Happy birthday, Bells." Charlie said as I let Bebe go.
"Dad, we agreed, no gifts." Bebe said.
"At least mine's not wrapped." Charlie said as he hands it to her. It's a digital camera. Bebe is definitely pleased, despite herself.
"Okay, this is actually kind of great. Thanks, Dad." Bebe stated.
"Goes with this one from your mom. We coordinated - well, she coordinated me. Even missy here helped pick the right stuff so," Charlie stated handing over the wrapped gift. Bebe opens the gift to reveal a scrapbook. "To put your pictures in, record your senior year -- man, senior year. How'd you get so old so fast?" Charlie asked.
"Not that old." Bebe stated rolling her eyes.
"I don't know. Is that a wrinkle?" Charlie asked jokingly, but Bebe took it to heart and races to the mirror, searches her face. "I was kidding." Charlie chuckled as I laughed very loudly in the background.
"So not funny, Dad. Becks stop laughing it isn't funny," Bebe said as she glared at the pair of us.
"I'll see you at school!" I laughed out as I went back over to my home. As I went in, I looked up seeing Carlisle. "It was so funny!" I giggled before hugging my mate.
"Yes, it is very funny," Carlisle said with a chuckle, giving me a kiss. "I love you," he whispered as I continued to giggle.
"I love you too," I whispered a bright smile on my face. "You taking me in or am I driving myself to school?" I asked.
"I have work soon, so unfortunately you'll have to drive yourself to school," he said, a pout automatically appeared on my face.
"Okay," I huffed but smiled as he leaned in and kissed me again. "I'll see you tonight," I stated. He nodded and left. I smiled and grabbed my bag that was sitting next to my door and walked outside to my Jeep.
The drive to school was very uneventful. Which was sad, I wanted something to happen. As soon as I arrived, I found my family and skipped over to them. "Hello mama bear!" Emmet cheered bringing me into a bone crushing hug.
"Emmet, your father won't be pleased if you kill me!" I choked out, as my eyes bulged.
"Shut up bitch, you can't even die," he grunted out letting me go.
"Yes, but right now I am slightly still human, and I could accidentally revert back to a baby if my mind thinks I'm dying," I stated, and he had this look of 'shit' across his face. "Anyway, when are you gonna stop calling me mama bear?" I asked.
"Never, because technically, you're gonna be our mom. Since Carlisle is our dad," Emmet stated, and I stopped.
"Oh yeah, alright I can live with that, I am older," I smirked and walked away headed to class. As I sit watching Romeo and Juliet, I can't help but remember the time I saw it live and a man was playing the female lead. I almost laughed loudly at remembering when the young mans voice cracked and his voice became very deep. Oh what a glorious day that was.
"Arms take your last embrace, and lips, O you, the doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss..." Romeo says. The room is dark as we PAN OVER the class, some students entertained, some moved, Mike trying not to fall asleep. Our teacher, Mr. Berty, mouths every word.
"Here's to my love!" Romeo exclaims as he drinks the poison. "O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick." He says as the poison takes affect on his life. I hum lightly as I look down and start drawing in my book, I smile as my picture takes a life of it's own, Nik's eyes staring into my own.
"Is there something you'd like to share with the class, Edward?" I hear Mr. Berty say looking to Edward, I turn and smirk at the vampire behind me as he shakes his head lightly.
"Certainly not. But I apologize for being a distraction. Perhaps you should rewind to act five, scene one, line twenty-eight eighty-nine..." Edward states and starts reciting the scene. ""If you had the strength of twenty men it would dispatch you straight.""
Mr. Berty just looks at him, then moves off, intimidated. I giggled as he sends everyone a look. "Eyes on the screen, people." I look over and see Bebe looks very concerned to be even a little bit amused. I sighed realising why. I shake my head but continue watching my drawing sitting still in front of and a smile on his face.
By the time school ended, I was at the Cullen family home. I smiled seeing Carlisle and skipped over hugging him tightly. "Our son almost killed me," I blurted before sending Emmet a look.
"Hey! I thought you weren't gonna rat me out!" He shouted as Carlisle sent Emmet a glare.
"Emmet, I thought I told you before you can't do stuff like that to her," Carlisle growled. I smiled innocently.
"That's cold mama bear," Emmet whispered.
"Everything will be okay, baby bear," I whispered as I pulled Carlisle away and into the room where the party would be held. "And Alice went over board again," I whispered. Carlisle and the family laughed loudly. "Hey, remember what she did for my birthday, Nik still teases me. Asshole." I muttered shaking my head.
