"Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero."

I was driving down the familiar path to the Cullen's home. I stopped in front of the house and smiled as I saw Carlisle step outside. I got out of my car and locked it up, running up the stairs with a smile on my face. "Hello," I greeted as I hug Carlisle and he brings me in tight.

"Hello, my dear," Carlisle whispered as he nuzzled his nose in my hair. I let out a little giggle as I let him go. I held his cold hand in mine as we walked into his home. I smiled as I saw Rosalie and Emmet chatting away, or well Rosalie was talking and Emmet was listening intently with a soft smile.

"Well, I apparently haven't met everyone properly," I said startling the pair, as I held a grin on my face after startling the two vampires. Rosalie smiles and vamp speeds away to go and get their aunt. "Okay," I said as I looked to Carlisle, and frown seeing him smiling softly and watching me. "What?" I questioned.

"Nothing, I just love it when you smile," Carlisle whispered, and I smiled brighter, fighting a blush.

I looked to the stairs as I saw a woman with brown hair, the gold eyes and a warm air around her come down the stairs.

"Hello, you must be Kara?" She questioned as she held her hand out for me to shake.

"And you must be Esme," I greeted with a smile as I took her hand and shook it. "It's a pleasure to meet you," I whispered.

"It's wonderful to meet you, I've heard so much about you from Carlisle and the kids," she giggled.

"Likewise," I said with a smile.

Both Esme and I had gotten along well, but soon I was dragged off from my conversation as Carlisle wanted to spend time with myself. He took us outside to an old path behind the house. I smiled as I held his freezing hand in mine.

"Tell me about your past and your family?" Carlisle asked, and I smirked.

"Well, I'm the youngest of my family, with four older brothers and two older sisters and someone else. We have Niklaus, who is my favourite out all of my family, just don't tell the others," I giggled. "Then there is Elijah, he is the noble one of our siblings, then there is Finn, his a bit of a mummy's boy, then there is Rebekah, she is very dramatic and is a stubborn woman, then there is my older sister Freya, my other siblings believe she died of the plague years ago but our mother had made a deal with an aunt of ours, she's a wicked woman my mother but now, we live freely and lastly Kol, crazy boy that guy is, always finding the ladies and falling in love, but he's fun to be around," I said with a smile.

"What of your other?" Carlisle asked, catching that I only spoke of the four brothers and two sisters.

"Henrik, my twin, he was so full of life and laughter, he could light your world up so beautifully, but he was sadly killed in a werewolf accident," I whispered, as a tear slipped down my face. Carlisle quickly wiped the tear away and I looked up at him with a soft smile. "That was a 1000 years ago, and it still hurts," I whispered.

"I'm sorry," Carlisle whispered.

"Why are you sorry it is not your fault Carlisle, you did not know, sadly these things happen for a reason, but I see him whenever I can anyway, Eva is very efficient when she needs to be," I giggled as I looked to my right and waved to Henrik and he waved back before running off and playing with the other children surrounding the home, those who had died running happily with their family and friends. "Being what I am, you tend to see things," I said with a giggle as Carlisle looked in the direction, I had been looking but seeing nothing. "Come on we can talk more inside," I giggled dragging him back to his home. The late afternoon turning into night and the night soon turned to morning.
