"She was a child of light in a disturbed life"

***********************************************************************

"Kara!" I heard Charlie shout from his home, I jumped off my couch and grabbed my crossbow before running over like a maniac.

"What's wrong Charlie!" I shouted as I held my crossbow in front of me.

"Kara, put the crossbow down, I'm not getting murdered." Charlie stated watching me carefully.

"Oh," I said putting it down and resting it on the wall. "Why'd you scream then?" I questioned walking into his kitchen and grabbing an apple and biting it happily.

"Bella's coming back," Charlie stated as I choke on my apple.

"Bebe's coming home!" I shouted happily. "Awe, but I can't see her until school," I whined as I plopped onto the floor. "I'll miss Bebe," I cried as I stared at my hands in pure sadness.

"Why?" Charlie questioned as he stared at me.

"Because I work till 11 at night," I whispered.

"You need a new job," Charlie chuckled.

"I know but it pays me well," I said, as I sighed and stood back up. "It's okay just means I get to make a scene at school," I laughed. Charlie chuckled and messed my hair up, I whined before getting up, grabbing my crossbow and leaving the house back over to mine.

I walked inside and opened my cupboard and placed my crossbow back in its spot, I locked the door of the cupboard and walked away, headed for my room. I slipped inside and shut the door behind me. I took a deep breath in and did my nightly routine. As I dressed into my PJ's I saw the picture of myself and Bella back in Phoenix, I had visited her that summer when we were both seven and told her everything that had happened since she had been gone.

*Flashback*

"Hey, Bebe?" I whispered as we looked at the setting sun.

"Yeah, Beck's?" Bebe questioned, smiling over to me.

"You know how, my parents always left and went on trips for their job?" I questioned, and she nodded looking at me. "Well, I found out what they did, you'll probably think I'm insane, but they hunt mythical beings," I whispered, as I clinched my jaw.

"They what?" Bella asked, shock written across her face.

"They hunt 'monsters' because it's their rite of passage, my family are hunters of the Supernatural," I whispered. Bebe looked at me sadly as I felt my eyes harden. "I have to join them when I go back, they're going to train me, and take me out on hunts," I whispered as I brought my knees up to my chest and wrapped my arms around me.

"But that's against all your own values," Bebe whispered.

"Yeah, against all my values in life," I stated.

*End Flashback*

I smiled sadly as I walked away from the picture and shifted my way into my bed. I curled under the covers and slowly my mind allowed what little sleep I would really need.
