My grandparents are busy talking to some old people. I recognized one of them, it's a senator! Then Cole is surrounded by some models habang si Lucas naman dito sa tabi ko ay nakapalumbabang tinitignan ang kanyang phone. May ibang mga babae ang sumubok na kunin ang atensyon niya. Even, Uncle Klaus was greeted by young models.
"Waiting for Harley's text?" tanong ko.
Ngumisi siya at umirap. He drank his whiskey bago tumango.
"Nagtatampo sayo no?"
He didn't answered but he nodded his head. I kinda know what's happening sa kanila. Sa akin nagrarant si Harley minsan.
"I suggest you tell her kung ano ba talagang nararamdaman mo.." sabi ko sa kanya habang sumasandal sa backrest ng sofa.
Hindi siya sumagot at nanatiling seryoso lang ang tingin sa kanyang inumin.
Some reporters came to our place dahil gusto nila akong ma-interview. They're really curious about my identity after I was introduced as Ysdee Gregory's daughter a year ago.
"Hi, Ms. Gregory! I'm Alliyah Frazer from BizQ Papers. Can I interview you for a minute?" a woman in her mid 30s asked me with a photographer on her side.
Tinignan ko si Uncle Klaus sa tabi. He nodded, meaning pumapayag siyang magpa-interview ako. Natuwa naman ang reporter nang tumayo ako.
"Is this your first modelling experience?" unang tanong niya.
"Yes"
"How were you casted by Evangeline?"
"I am friends with the designer. We bumped with each other when I was in uni and he asked me to be his model" I honestly said.
"Is there any chance that you would do this again? You're a crowd favorite.."
"Maybe it's just the gown.." I laughed a little. "If Tita Vangie will ask me again then I guess I will.."
"We know that you were in the Philippines for a long time.. Do you know any Filipina models here?"
"I actually don't.." sabi ko.
Hindi ko naman kilala si Andrea Constantino noong nasa Pilipinas ako. At wala rin akong balak sabihin na kilala ko siya because I stalked her.
"But I became friends with Ziana.."
"You're currently taking psychology in Cambridge, right?" tumango ako sa tanong niya. "Any plans after graduating?"
"I don't have any plans yet.."
Nagtagal pa ng konti ang interview. She just asked those typical questions you might hear during a rush interview. Nagpasalamat siya at umalis na dahil mukhang may isa pa siyang i-interviewhin.
Habang kumakain, my eyes wandered around the venue. I get quite anxious kapag may dumadaan sa likod ko at tinitignan iyon. Lucas asked me if I'm okay. Tumango naman ako.
Nagpaalam ako sa kanya na pupunta lang ako sa restroom. Noong una ay gusto niya pa akong samahan but I told na kaya ko naman.
Hanggang ngayon, malakas pa rin ang kabog ng puso ko. How can he affect me like that? Dalawang taon kaming hindi nagkita! Bakit ganito pa rin?
