Chaos found himself once again in his secluded corner in the bar, nursing a cigar and a bottle of scotch.
His emotions were in tatters as he thrusted his hands into his hair, pulling on the long blonde stands until his scalp burned.

The beast was back and now wasn't the time.

Lennox was settling into her new room in the clubhouse and the look on her face when she saw a bed made Chaos go mental.
The idea of her not having a safe place to sleep while she was away made his heart ache and his fists tighten.

The whole night had him on edge and he wanted nothing more than to sleep away his worries, but with his best friend's sister two doors away from the isolation of his cold dark room, his head couldn't focus.

The voices taunted him, pushing him to go out and kill the fuckers who hurt Lennox. He had never been so overwhelmed with rage and worry all at once.

Again his grip tightened around the bottle as he chugged back another large mouthful of the beautifully aged scotch.

Still the tormenting voices continued, no amount of alcohol was going to stop them that was clear.
Growing more and more frustrated Chaos threw the bottle towards the nearest wall, all the way across the side of the bar and took satisfaction in the small amount of destruction he had caused.

He took off down the corridor, leaving behind the broken glass and shocked faces. Stumbling to his room, he heard crying from along the corridor and he immediately knew who it was. He faltered momentarily, surely Maddox would be with her?

Curiousity got the better of his, and he quietly ventured further down the hall. Pressing his ear against the door he heard multiple cries and whimpers from behind the oak door.

Tentatively, with hands still shaking fists, he knocked and awaited a reply.

"Lennox?" He whispered, trying his best to be comforting in his current erratic state.

He repeated louder this time, when he heard nothing he took it upon himself and slowly opened the door.
"Hello?" He tried to remain calm, but the sigh before him made his inner demons come alive.

Lennox sat in the corner of the room, arms bond around her knees head cradles in her hands as she slowly sobbed.

Chaos almost broke.

"Lennox?" He whispered again, desperately trying to gain her attention, he didn't want to scare her.

He walked closer, getting down to her level

Her blue eyes caught his from across the room. And she flinched automatically at the sight of him.

Chaos ducked further, the beast appearing to calm just from being in her presence.

"It's me, Chaos. Your brother's friend. I'm not going to hurt you." He stated firmly but in a comforting tone.

She nodded as she moved slightly closer towards him.

"What's the matter little one?" Chaos whispered as he sat himself next to her. The fear evident behind her blue eyes.

"I-i" she stuttered before looking him in the eyes.

"I can't get it off" she finally stated, which only added to Chaos's confusion.

"Can't get what off Lennox?" He pushed her further for answers.

"Th-the blood" she finally admitted, her eyes transfixed on the exposed skin of her arms. She began to claw at her pale, bruised skin which caused Chaos to swiftly move into action.

Carefully, he took hold of her arms and brought them closer to his broad chest. He'd seen similar things before during his time in the military. Sometimes even examples in his own behaviour.

"Can I help you?" He asked her taking one hand and placing it softly on her cheek to wipe away her tears.

She looked him deeply within the eyes, and nodded desperately.

"Okay" he muttered with a smile and prompted her to stand up.
Chaos guided her over to the bathroom where he then began to run the tap in the sink, filling it with warm water.

He told her to sit on the closed toilet lid, and she followed his wishes without hesitation.

Grabbing a wash cloth from the shelving unit, he soaked it in the warm water wringing out any excess.
Looking over at Lennox he watched for a moment as she stared blankly at the tiled wall. Tears still making their way down her pale face.

He then brought the wash cloth over to her, crouching down and carefully taking her hand in his. He began to wash away all traces of the blood she could see as she watched closely.

"It's going to be okay little one, you're safe now" he said delicately as he continued washing her pale skin, not wanting to upset her further.

"It's-it's gone" she whispered to herself, eyes never leaving the repetitive motion of Chaos's hands on hers.
He watched her silently, in awe of everything she did. Every single small movement he took note of.

The beast bellow the surface stirred as she held on to his arm, Chaos wasn't used to anyone touching him. Feeling the subtle burning sensation underneath her delicate grasp, he pushed it aside.

She needed him.

He had no idea where Maddox was, he would give him an earful later for taking off, leaving Lennox all alone.

Minutes passed and Chaos still worked on cleaning her arms.
"Th-thank you Chaos" she whispered, he nodded in response and placed the rag back in the sink. Taking her hand, he lead her back to her room.

"Okay sweetheart, time to get some sleep. You need to rest up" Chaos carefully spoke to her. She nodded and walked past her new bed, taking her place on the floor.

"Don't you want to sleep up here sweetheart?" He asked her as he patted the thick duvet, confused about her actions.
She looked at him, confusion behind her beautiful blue eyes and shook her head.

"Master won't like that" she stated clearly. Those four words broke Chaos' heart in an instant. He walked over to her small form in the corner of the dark room.
"Sweetheart he's not here, you're safe now. Come to bed" he pleaded holding out his hand for her.

Shock took over her expression as she took his warm hand, soon placing herself underneath the warm comforter.

"Okay you're all set" Chaos smiled at her, ready to go back to his bottle in the bar.

"Stay with me?" She questioned.

"Sure" he replied, taking his place beside her.

Chaos had only known this scared woman, for under 24 hours. But he knew what he had to do. Not only for his Brothers, but for her.

He would do anything for her.
