Tangled Strings (sequel to Red Strings)

Chapter 26

Skyler's POV

We all laugh looking at Natalie's reaction, her and I hadn't talked in about two weeks and there was still a little underlining tension, but that wasn't the only thing on my mind.  Not only had Luke and I had sex... but we'd had sex three times since then.  Plus there was the fact that Youtube wanted me to be a partner and I had reached 801, 523 subscribers after my boy band does my make up video has reached a million views last monday. 

And Tyler Oakley, THE Tyler Oakley, queen of Youtube had tweeted at me indirectly and said I was one to watch. Meeting Vic Fuentes was just icing on top of the ice cream cake... at least I think that's what the saying is. The boys had several different talented artists and producers coming and going through the house, I had kind of gotten use to waking up and finding my favourite artists sipping coffee at our kitchen counter. 

"It's so nice to meet you!" Nat gushes shaking his hand he grins at her flicking his hair. She blushes obviously still in awe. "I'll leave you guys to it!" I say talking about Ash and Luke, they had planned to get Nat to sing back up on a song that they had written with him and I didn't want to be in the way. Luke nods kissing the top of my head, then Ashton jokingly pretends to do the same.  I send them both a grin and send them a final wave before I walk back into the main house, and head straight for what has become Calum's room (Luke and Cal's old room.) 

He groans in response and I take that as the go ahead to push the door open. I scrunch my nose up immediately.  The whole room smells like alcohol. Calum was lying on the bed laptop situated on his stomach. "Cal," I sigh sitting next to him and patting his leg. 

"You know, you guys don't have to keep checking on me it's not like this room has any windows I can throw myself out of." It was true all the windows where either locked or had a plastic net on top of it. "It concerns me that you know that," I reply raising my eyebrow, he stops typing on his computer and looks over at me. I sigg. 

"Why don't we go do something?" I suggest standing up getting another whiff of stale alcohol. "You need to get out of this room," "She's here isn't she?" "Calum." "Skyler." "Yes she's here, but she's in he studio and we can go through the garage." "You're forgetting something" "What?" "We have no where to go." 

I groan walking over to him and shutting his laptop. "Hey!" he pouts "We're in LA for God's sake there's always something to do!" I see that I'm not getting through to him and I decide to take drastic action. "Come on!" I whine jumping on his bed. "Alright, alright!" he caves, planting his hands on my shoulder. "Woo!" I holler.

"Lads date!" I say trying to sounds manly. "You are not a lad" he says standing up and I pull a funny face. "Lads, lads, lads!" I cheer pumping my fist in the air. "God you are such a loser." "Tee hee!" Cal walks towards me and I suddenly remember how bad it stinks. "Yeah, you've got to shower first," I demand placing my hand on his chest in an attempt to stop him from walking any closer. 

"What are you talking about?" he asks smelling his shirt. "I smell fantastic!" "You smell, like what I imagine the bathroom in a club to smell like." Cal laughs taking a step back and pulling his shirt off. "And not a high end club either, one of those really shitty ones that have twenty-four hour happy hour specials." he laughs again undoing his belt. My eyes widen.

"Can't you do that in the bathroom?" I ask and he smirks. "Why? Like what you see?" he asks me doing his hip thrust move and I roll my eyes. Calum was always stripping in fact Luke had posted a photo of his bare arse on Twitter yesterday. 

"Alright go shower," I tell him pushing him in the direction of the door just as Cal has his hand on the knob the door pushes in revealing an extremely confused looking Natalie. "What the actual fuck!?" she screams eyeing Calum up and down then looking back at me.
