Chapter 8

Skyler's POV

"Luke stop it!" I giggle wiggling out of his grasp "oh my god you are so annoying" I squeal "do you forgive me now?" he asks hugging me tightly and pressing kisses into my neck. "Fine, yes ok! But I still don't understand why you didn't just tell me you where leaving for like the whole summer" I pout dramatically, he groans slinging one arm over my shoulder as we continue to walk through the park 

"the boys and I decided it would be best to tell you together" I roll my eyes grabbing onto his hand. "Are we heading back to yours then?" I question and Luke giggles raising his eyebrows suggestively, I snort beginning to run to the car. 

"No fair head start!" Luke yells and I reach the car door and yank it open. "So when are you guys leaving anyway" I sigh getting into the car "A week" "A week" I repeated shocked "We figured you guys would meet us out there once school ends" he shrugs twisting the key to the car and turning on the music.

"God your life is crazy" I sigh leaning back in the car seat I Luke smile as he stares straight at the road. "Oh my god what song is this?" I question turning the dial higher "how do you not know this song? You're like obsessed with Sleeping with Sirens" 

"Hey Kellin Quinn was a phase!" I defend and Luke chuckles singing along to the song. I tap along to the beat checking my messages none from Nat. "What's wrong?" Luke asks looking over at me "Nat hasn't texted me" I confess biting my lip "Maybe she's a little busy" he winks making me giggle "Let's hope." 

The car stops slowly and three girls are standing outside "Luke, Luke can we take a picture?" one asks holding out her camera as I get out of the car. Luke waves and them and whispers "I'll be right there babe" I nod walking up to the door and knocking. 

"Who is it?" Michael says in his high pitched girl voice "Mikey" I say imitating his voice badly. "Mikey you're so hot" he says I laugh knocking on the door again. "Let me in!" I pout, as a water balloon hits the ground I scream looking at Ashton and Michael in the window. 

"Oh my-" I begin as another one hits my shoulder "Luke" I say as he turns around shocked. He hugs all three girls quickly and runs over to me "What happened?" he questions and I point to the empty window, Luke looks up 

"Bombs away" Michael yells in between giggles. The water balloon hit the top of Luke's head and the girls across the street laugh hysterically "Aw babe" I smile trying to prop his hair back up and as another one hits me. "I am going to kill you both!" I yell "mom," Luke yells knocking on the door.

"Let us in!" he begs as another one land on the grass. We hear the laughter get louder as the water balloons continue to be thrown out the window. "Take her" Luke says pulling me in front "My boyfriend ladies" I say turning to the girls still recording. 

"Wait back door, back door" "That's what she said!" I hear Michael yell "We have to beat Ash to the door" Luke announces grabbing my hand and running to his backyard. He grabs the door knob first and tries to push it open but Ash is in the way.

"Ashton!" I scream helping Luke push the door open. He laughs loudly as we enter the house dripping wet. Liz smiles at us "mum?" Luke whines and she shrug leaving the room "dry off" she laughs "oh sure" I smirk reaching out for Ash and hugging him 

"I should have seen this coming" he sighs the front of his white tank top now semi see through. "Indeed young one" I say walking up the stairs "young one, I'm older then you" he says walking into the kitchen Luke laughs following him.

"Michael!" I scream running into Luke's room and chasing him around "why would you do this to me?" I ask tackling him onto Luke's bed "you're wet!" He complains "oops" I joke sticking my tongue out at him. "Why did we invite you to Cali, am I going to have to live with this?" he questions as he flails his arms around I roll my eyes
