Skyler's POV
"We love you Sydney!" Ashton yells raising his drum sticks high into the air the crowed of 21,000 people, Natalie and I scream from the wings catching Calum's attention he sends us a wink.
"Do you know them?" a girl standing besides us asks a backstage pass dangling loosely from her neck, Natalie giggles "I guess you could say that" I shrug as she smiles widely "I saw them perform in a shop last summer crazy how far they've come" we nod in agreement.
"I'm Sylvana by the way" she says putting her hand out "I uh won this contest... it's kind of awkward standing back here not knowing anyone" I chuckle taking her hand "Skyler" I say "and this is Natalie, please excuse her she's too busy ogling" "oh yeah? Which ones your favourite?" She asks innocently I bite my lip to stop from laughing, Luke and I had been dating for just under a year now and none of the new fans they had acquired new about it.
"I'm gonna have to say Michael" I joke Natalie punches my arm "oi!" I flinch covering the spot she just hit with my other hand. "We where just a couple of lads from the mystical land of Sydney practising to be a band" Ashton says leaning into his microphone it still amazed me how comfortable they where on stage.
"We wrote our own music and thank you too the uh lovely lovely band One Direction!" He yelled staring into the wing as the crowed went crazy Luke, Calum and Michael followed suit all staring in our direction.
I hear Sylvana scream beside me pulling out her cell phone "so make some noise Sydney!" Ashton continues "and uh look I'm just gonna be honest there's a very attractive girl over there distracting me in the orange dress" he points Natalie and I look at Sylvana for the first time noticing she's wearing and orange cut out dress.
"Did he just" she pauses "did he mean me?" she ask pointing to herself a shocked expression on her face "I think so" Natalie smirks patting her gently on the back "cool" he laughs nervously I grin turning my attention back to the stage.
"I'm just not gonna look in your direction" Ashton giggles "take it away Michael!" "This song is actually a song we've released it's called Heartbreak Girl!" "Hopefully you know it" Calum nods as they start the song accapella.
"I dedicate this song to you,
The one who never sees the truth,
That I can take away your hurt, heartbreak girl."
"You know when I fist heard this song I thought he said heartbreak-er" Sylvana points out "Me too!" I agree "see it's not just me" Natalie sticks her tongue out as Luke begins to sing.
