Skyler's POV

A couple more days past, but time seems to speed up since Natalie had gotten back. It seemed like the more her mom tried to pressure her in to things the less she wanted to do any of it. Luke and I had been speaking ever since that night but neither of us had mentioned anything relationshipy yet. So to say it was awkward would be an understatement.

I find myself waiting for Natalie to go pick the boys up from the airport, tugging on the sleeves of my sweater. I hear a car honking and I roll my eyes flipping Natalie off as I run to the car, "Hey" she smiles "Hello sweetie" I was trying to quote Doctor Who. "Ok, you've officially been inside to long" she tells me I sick my tongue out at her putting my feet up on the seat as she begins to drive.

The airports not very busy, only a few business people rushing around, Natalie and I cling onto each other approaching the baggage claim. "Well then, what time is it?" I ask Nat pulls out her phone checking the time. "They should have just landed, but I haven't gotten a text from Calum yet so..." I walk briskly over to the flight board it's written in huge letters.

Flight 109 Delay hour and a half.

I groan crossing my hands over my chest as Natalie runs up beside me reading the board. "Well then." she sighs placing her hands on her hips. "Coffee." I nod only now remembering how early in the morning it was. Nat and I walk over to a cafe with a name I'd never heard of and sit down at the far right table, as close as Natalie and I were it was weird to be just the two of us again.

We sit in an uncomfortable silence, both of us not knowing what to say. Then I suddenly can't stop laughing. "What?" Natalie asks me the look of confusion on her face only making me want to laugh harder. "Sky!" She giggles joining in I can see out of the corner of my eye some of the business men are giving us weird looks.

"My side hurts!" I whine trying to control myself.  Natalie wipes a tear from her eye. "You are so weird." she grins and I shrug. "Just go get me a coffee." I demand pointing to the cash register. "How come I have to get it?" she asks me I stare at her. "Ok fine, fine I'm going!" Nat jumps of her high chair leaving me alone.

I pull my phone out  and see that I have a few unanswered texts from Emma. Ever since the night at the park we had started texting. Well more like she would text me and I would read them and forget to answer, story of my life.

"Who ya texting?" Natalie asks placing a paper cup in front of me and sitting back down. "Did I not tell you about Emma?" I ask Natalie shakes her head taking a sip of her coffee then wincing. "I met her when I attempted to go to that party I told you about." "Still can't believe Mallory's pregnant." she replies shaking her head.

"Anyway I've been getting these panicky moments lately." "Wait like panic attacks?" "It'll probably pass just another symptom of that fucking accident." Natalie nods looking back down at her drink. "Well, you know I get them sometimes so if you ever need help…" "I know, now let me finish my story!" Natalie puts her arms up defensively.

"Ok sorry." I take a deep breath. "Thank you, as I was saying Emma helped me out during one of them, and she told me that if I needed her I could text her/" "Where was I?" Natalie asks obviously upset. "You and the boys were having so much fun, I didn't want to ruin it!" Natalie rolls her eyes. "You'd like Emma she's so nice." I then start to smirk. "She actually kind of looks like you." Natalie gasps. "Excuse you?" "I'm serious, you guys should meet!" Natalie hums and takes a sip of coffee.

"So enough about that, how's Cameron?" "I just can't believe how annoying my mom is being, Cameron is not that great! If I have to hear about his rugby trophy one more time I am going to lose my mind!" I chuckle. "I seem to remember you enjoying those rugby trophies…" Nat scrunches her nose and I wiggle my eyebrows. "I hate you." she glares and I snort. "Wait I have a great idea!" I squeal. "What?" "Let's make a sign" Natalie's eyes go wide. "I'm so down."
