Reading this book was very entertaining. The author really has a way with words.
I'm not sure where the plot is headed, as only five chapters have been published so far. Nevertheless, I would recommend leaving out details that aren't significant to the plot.
The settings are described fairly well, especially the café with the reptilian decor.
Alexis is a fun character I am sure many will be able to relate to. Despite being bullied for being different when she was younger, she still stands up for herself and doesn't hesitate to put others in their place.
I would suggest using shorter sentences. This would make it easier for the reader to understand the point that is being made. Sentences with more than fifteen to twenty words are sometimes very complex and much harder to comprehend. They can confuse the reader much more easily.
I found this book highly enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good romance.
