Review:
The plot is set at a nice pace. Tension and suspense is built quickly and the reader is left with an unsatisfied feeling of wanting to read further.
The settings, especially the forest, are described very well. I felt that some of the characters could be better described, however.
I like Charles' innocence and how it allowed him to see that there was more to the creature that had grabbed him in the forest.
Grammar could be slightly improved.
I really enjoyed reading this book and I simply can't wait for more!
