"So, where are we going?" Bruce asked nervously.

"Home," Thor said. Bruce's expression lightened, and Thor noticed . "Um, but not your home."

"What?"

"We have to go to Asgard to save it from my sister, Hela." Thor was glancing around as he explained. I could tell he was trying to make sure we weren't being noticed, but sticking his head above the crowd to do it wasn't helping.

"That sounds like a personal issue. Are you sure you can't just drop me off on Earth?"

"We need you, Bruce." I gave Thor a look, knowing he wasn't actually talking about Bruce.

"No," he told Thor. "You need the Hulk. But I can't do that. If I go green again, I might never come back." Thor didn't say anything.

"Thor, where are we going?" I asked.

"Not sure."

"Well, I think we should at least try to find Loki."

"Loki?" Bruce murmured.

"Oh," I said, realizing I probably shouldn't throw his name around beside an Avenger. "Uh, yeah. Don't worry. He's good now?" I didn't know what to tell him that would make him feel better.

"He killed a lot of people the last time I saw him. How can you be sure?"

I didn't really know how to respond. I hated this conversation. I couldn't stop myself from getting a little mad, even though I knew Bruce was justified to ask that.

Thor must have noticed. "Bruce, don't," he said.

"But he—" Thor shot him a look, and he shut himself up. He looked to me, expecting my help, but he slumped back when he noticed my anger. "Right." He leaned in towards Thor. "Am I missing something?" he whispered.

"Bruce, please, just stop talking." We ended up in a crowd full of alien people.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"We have to find a ship," Thor replied.

"Well, that's why we are supposed to find Loki. So why don't we do that?"

"No. I'm truly sorry, but that's not going to happen."

"You're fucking kidding." Thor shook his head in denial. "Why the hell not? Do you know how much of a risk he's taking for you?"

"Lilith, I mean you no offense, but my brother has played far too many tricks on me in the past. It is a risk I cannot take again."

"I can't believe you. Well, I'm going to find him. So see you later. It was nice meeting you Bruce," I said through clenched teeth. I looked around, but I didn't see him anywhere. "Bruce?"

Worry clouded Thor's face. "We have to find him. This is a rather stressful environment."

I nodded, putting aside our disagreement for the moment. "Bruce!" I called out. "Well, shit."

"This way," Thor said. I followed him reluctantly. "Banner!"

"Looking for someone?" A familiar voice asked from behind us. I turned around to see the other Valkyrie. She pushed Bruce towards us with a smirk on her face.

"You want to help us?" I asked.

"Why not? It's better than rotting here. Besides, might as well as go out with a bang," she said, waving her hands around. "What're we waiting for? Let's go." She began to walk towards us and ended up shoving her way through us. Thor followed without a second thought, but I wasn't too sure.
