SHOUT OUT TO the_best_murderer FOR REQUESTING THIS NEXT CHAPTER. ANY OTHER REQUESTS ARE ALLOWED.

You heard about the Auditore family and their massive loss. Giovanni Auditore, his old oldest son and youngest son were hanged unfairly. But his second oldest son, Ezio Auditore, still lived as well as his daughter and his wife. Ezio needed to get his family somewhere safe and the only place where that was possible was at the Monteriggioni Villa.

When Ezio first came, he was still so devastated by the events but he had to stay focused to avenge his father and brothers. You saw him walking with his uncle, Mario and his mother and sister. They were talking about something that was probably personal. You didn't want to interrupt but you figured you would see him again. But sadly no, he was busy a lot and didn't stop in town that often.

After about fifteen years, Ezio didn't come back at all. Until today. You were out and heard people muttering about Ezio but you didn't want to think about it. You made your way outside the town walls and wanted to go for a horse ride. When you made it, you saw your horse got lose from its post and was wandering around the entrance of town.

You groaned in frustration and ran to catch your horse but it sped off and went back towards you only to run right by you. "Why now? WHY NOW"!?

"'Why now' what"? You turned around and came face to face with Ezio. He had developed a scruff on his chin and had an all black assassin attire. His voice was thicker and deeper. When he spoke to you just now, it sent a shiver down your spine. "My horse got lose and I can't catch her. Would you help me"?

"Sure"! He immediately went after the horse and like a hummingbird, he was able to catch the horse. It was a nice action but did it really have to end? "Here you are".

"Thank you Ezio. But I am wondering..."

"Yes..?"

"How fast are you on a horse"? Ezio seemed perplexed by that question and just assumed that all horse's went the same pace. "I'm decent, I suppose". You hopped on your horse and said, "Well then, take a horse and see if you can beat me by racing around the wall". You then sped off and Ezio quickly took a horse by the stable to catch up to you.

You looked behind you and saw Ezio smirking as he was racing to catch you. You smiled in joy and went as fast as you could to beat him but he somehow got ahead of you and was in the lead. "No fair"! Ezio laughed and kept going and you kept trying to get ahead of him but it was useless. Ezio finally reached the front of the town wall with you right behind him. "Your a cheater".

Ezio chuckled at you and said, "No, It was fair". You huffed and tied your horse back to the stable and spoke to Ezio. "Do we really have to stop the fun, Ezio"? Ezio thought about your question and smiled at you. "No, if you follow me then we can continue". You smiled and followed after Ezio. You both went down the small street to head up to the villa. "Ezio"?

"Yes"?

"What have you been doing since you first came here"?

"I've been trying to track down my family's murderer, and I did. But after that, I had more to do. So I came back here to see what else I could do". While Ezio was talking, you got next to him and slipped your arm in to have him hold you. It was an exhilarating moment that felt like your heart would burst out of your chest. But that won't happen. "Well, I'm positive that your father and brothers are now resting with ease knowing that their killer is dead".

Ezio smiled at you sincerely. He needed that support. He assumed all the mourning for him and his family, but not you. You would give him all the comfort he desired and he would probably do the same for his friends and family. "Thank you for your kind words. I need them to help me advance after everything that has happened".
