Erma: Three of Hearts

" Read 'em" I smiled down at my hand.

Liod's mouth fell open. His crystal gaze empty with shock.

I swiped up my hand smoothly Liod's eyes not leaving me.

" How do I.... Always lose?"

I chuckled " I don't know, Sir."

He frowned staring down at his cards with a look of confusion.
" Don't call me that... You know you're my babe. Don't be calling me sir like that when its just me and you."

I chuckled " The system doesn't change just because you think it does sir..."

He frowned at me " I don't care. I'm one man. But I bet a tonne of guys have fallen in love with their toys."

I winced at the word " Infatuation. Not love."

He stayed quiet a moment as I rolled out another set of cards.

" Another game sir?"

He exhaled drinking what remained in his glass.
" Sure. Sure."

I'd been with Liod for... Just over two years. Matter of fact he had received me off none other than his own uncle.

The fact that I had connections to a particular Prince had enticed Liod's interest.

He expected classiness.

That I was. Obviously.

But it didn't mean I couldn't start a fight fairly easy when I wasn't given the respect I deserved.

Though that had led to a palm to the face from my own master one too many a time.

I was used to the slaps and he never Beat on me relentlessly. It was usually just the one warning slap.

Mostly he would slap me if I had humiliated him.

Which was fairly common. I mean if he humiliated me I was entitled to slap him.

As a permanent toy to him I had my rights too.

Liod answered his phone, that had began ringing just as I dealt him his cards.

" Hello!" He smiled and I could already tell who had called.

I got up to get ready.

We would be visiting Light and Nord.

He had been poorly before I would hope he was alright now though. He was good enough to apologise at the time I'd teased him. I'd gotten him into trouble with Nord which I felt was a bit much of me.. I mean he was a sweety.

Liod held my arm pulling me out of the car, handing me the box of chocolates.
His eyes focused in on me in a serious leer.
" Those are for the missus. You give them to your rival and make friends okay?"

I nodded " Yes. Mind you we have made up already Leo."
He wrapped up my hand in his and pulled me along " Come on."

I nodded hurrying along beside his lean tall visage.

Nord as usual pretended I didn't exist.
Everyone knew Nord's secret it was a surprise he kept himself up so well.

But he didn't have to ignore every toy he saw for that reason.

I smiled when I noticed a very Pale tiny creature.

Oh right.

" Light we got you these chocolates... Congratulations!"
He smiled " Uh... Thanks Erma. You guys really shouldn't have."

Liod growled pulling me into him " Nonsense! Erma told me he'd made amends with you. He wouldn't stop begging to get you something sweet."

Nord chuckled " He has quite the sweet tooth."
Light nodded in turn biting his lip and looking over his husband. I smiled a bit watching as Liod followed Nord away

Did he want me to come with him!?
Light chuckled " Take a seat over here Erma. I promise Nord will look after at him."

I frowned at him joining him on the couch in the study.

" You make it sound like I'm worried!"

He smiled " And you're not? You looked lost for a minute there when he didn't look back for you."

I couldn't help but open my mouth... But quickly shut up when I realised I had no argument.

" Have one of the chocolates." He smiled at me.

I frowned " Oh... Those are for you Light."
He chuckled " Alright... But trust me I'm gonna just end up eating them all alone since Nord doesn't eat Claro's chocolates."

I bit my lip.

I couldn't. They were a gift.

Light smirked crunching on the chocolate, eyes bright and watching me.

I quickly picked one up and tried it.
Melting in my seat.
" Woooooow."
He chimed in smiling " Claro's have the best I'm super glad you got me these actually. Baby cupcakes love the chocolates."

I glared at him " Baby cupcakes?"

He chuckled " I call my babies... cupcakes cause I like cupcakes!"
I raised a brow hearing the plurals again

" Babies as in... Not just one."

He instantly blushed " Gosh darn it."
He moved stray hairs away from his face.
" Yeah...uh... Its a secret... But there's two little ones... Here."
He patted gently at his stomach and I couldn't help but smile.

" Can I touch it?"
He frowned at me.
" You won't feel any movement ... Yet."
I frowned " But you will invite me back as soon as they're big enough to feel right?"

He chuckled nodding at me with a look of happiness on his face.

Looking back Liod had been stood by waiting glaring at me.

" Come on let's go..."

My eyes widened.

" Already?"

He exhaled hard, looking as though he had something difficult on his mind.

I would understand later.

We waved off Light and Nord and the car began to move.

I looker over at Liod " Something bothering you?"

He hid his mouth with his hand looking down at his phone.

" Yeah..."
He cleared his throat sitting up and focusing on me.
Eyes hard with something hidden.

" I'm taking you to your temporary place."

I frowned " Hm? How come ...?"

He groaned biting his lip and fidgeting in his seat.

" I uh... Well. "
Eyes on the floor. This was getting agitating.

He exhaled but I could hear the forced tone of his voice.

" I have to... stop seeing you."
