'And that's the story of how I saved a dog from a house fire.'
You chuckled and bit into your toasted marshmallow.
'Was it a real house fire? Was this even real?' Addy asked while laughing.
Doc shrugged.
'What does that mean?' Mack asked.
'Well... that's right! It was a dream I had. Back in... was it... the 80's?'
The whole group began to laugh.
'Does anybody else have any stories?' Warren asked.
'What about the time that Doc accidentally shot his own foot?' 10k pipes up from next to you.
Doc held up a hand while everybody laughed.
'We don't talk about that time, 10k.'
You picked up another fluffy marshmallow and placed it on your stick. You leaned forward to the flames that radiated heat onto you.
'How about we play a game?' Addy suggested.
Everybody made sounds of agreement.
'What about the nervous game?' Mack joked.
Addy hit him jokingly and the group chuckled again.
'What's the nervous game?' 10k asked innocently.
'Don't worry about it, Kid,' Doc replied.
'How about truth or dare?' You suggest.
Warren nods.
'Okay then, Cassandra. Truth or dare?'
Cassandra swallows her mouthful of marshmallow and laughs.
'Truth.'
'Is it true that you stole a Twinkie from my backpack?' Doc butts in.
Charlie covers Doc's mouth with his hand and nods at Warren.
'Continue.'
Warren smiles at him and looks back at Cassandra.
'If you had to kill Murphy or Y/N, who would you kill?'
Murphy looked at you then glared at Warren.
'Why is that even a question?'
Cassandra smiles at you.
'Murphy. Of course.'
'You're making it too easy for her, Warren,' Doc protests.
'Okay, Vasquez. Truth or dare?' Cassandra asks.
Vasquez turns his marshmallow over in the fire and pretends to think.
'I chose none. I'm not playing.'
Protests from Addy and Mack rise.
'You have to play!' Addy argues.
'Fine. I chose truth. Nothing stupid, okay?'
'If you had to choose between a bus or a train to use during the apocalypse, what would you choose?' Cassandra continued.
Vasquez takes a bite of his marshmallow, that is almost burnt to a crisp.
'A bus. 10k.'
10k look up at him across the fire.
'Okay...?'
'Truth or dare?'
'Dare,' He answers bravely.
Addy bursts out laughing.
'You probably shouldn't have done that, 10. Vasquez is ruthless when it comes to dares.'
'Be nice,' Warren tells Vasquez.
'Fine. I dare 10k to kiss Y/N.'
Laughs, gasps and chatter rises and soon the whole group has something to say about the matter. And they're not on your team. It not that you don't like 10k, in fact you have a major crush on him.
'Do it,' Cassandra says.
'Come on, Kid. Take up the offer,' Doc jokes.
'You can do it, Ten!' Addy supports.
'This is going to be interesting,' Charlie groans.
'I knew something like this would happen. I knew it!' Warren laughed.
'I'm going to sit back and watch the show,' Mack sighs.
'This is stupid. Why can't we do something interesting for once?' Murphy complains.
Warren whistles, which makes everybody silent.
'Go on, 10k.'
You look to your right at 10k. Even in the dim light of the fire, you can see the deep blush that inhabits his face.
'Um...'
'Yeah...' He replies.
'Just hurry up,' Murphy groans.
10k shrugs and places one hand on your cheek. He then leans in and pecks your lips lightly and softly. Then he gets up and bows.
You look around the group in shock. Their response to your reaction is laughter that lasts more than a few minutes.
'Now, Y/N. Truth or dare?' 10k asks you.
You try to bring yourself together, trying to get over the shock.
'Dare. I guess...'
You pray that he what he says next won't humiliate you further.
'I dare you to kiss me again.'
Hello everybody! I'm back! I hope that you enjoy this quick little one shot, it's not very good, but I wanted to post something! Maybe I could make a mini series with different games that the group plays, like campfire or 'sleepover' games? Give me your opinion! (this is not edited sorry)
