15th of December 2018

"Sienna, what are you doing?" Ashton asked me, walking into my bedroom as I finished unpacking the last of my clothes.

"Nothing, why?" I asked, sitting back down on my bed. Ashton was dressed like he was ready to go to the beach, which is what I assumed he was doing.

"Want to come to the beach with me and the boys?" he asked.

"Who are 'the boys'?" I was, using my fingers to indicate quotation marks when I asked him who the boys were.

"Luke, Calum and Michael," he said and I nodded. I had noticed that Ashton had been hanging out with those three boys the most out of the boys that were at our house that afternoon a couple of weeks ago.

"Do they know I am coming?" I asked and Ashton nodded.

"Yeah Luke asked if you wanted to come, and besides, Calum and Michael's girlfriends will be there too."

"Okay, give me a minute please," I said and Ashton nodded as he went back downstairs and I put on a white strapless two-piece bikini and a loose white dress over the top, chucking everything that I needed into a bag and then I was ready to go. I headed back downstairs and Ashton was sitting at the kitchen bench, keys in hand and ready to go.

"Ready to go Si?" he asked and I nodded, as we headed outside to get into Ashton's white Volkswagon Golf.

"What beach are we going?" I asked Ashton, who turned the radio onto Triple J as he began to drive. If we were still in Adelaide, I assume that I would have been at a friends house, as most of my close friends had a pool. Or we would all be at the beach on a day like this, the thought of this made me miss my friends in Adelaide.

"Bondi," Ashton said and I nodded. Ashton and I have always been close, as he is only just over a year older than me, him being born in June and myself being born in September.

"Who are Calum and Michael's girlfriends?" I asked as we began to near the beach.

"Calum's girlfriend is Olivia and Michael's girlfriend is Evie," Ashton said as he pulled into a park and we both got out of the car, Ashton quickly grabbing a ticket and putting on his dashboard making sure that he wouldn't receive a parking fine. I followed Ashton down to the beach where I had been spending most of my time at the moment, either swimming, reading or working on my tan, as I haven't had the chance to make friends, as school doesn't go back until the end of January.

"Okay sweet," I said as we both took off our shoes, so we could walk on the warm sand with ease. We made our way to where three boys were sitting with two dark brown haired girls, all sitting on different coloured towels, suddenly making me feel weirdly self-conscious about my light pink and white striped towel.

"Ashton, mate, how is it going?" Michael exclaimed as Ashton and I walked over, placing our towels on the sand, Ashton next to Michael and myself next to Luke.

"Yeah good good, you?" Ashton asked, putting on his sunglasses as we both sat down. Both girls were incredibly stunning, almost passing as siblings with their sunkissed skin and long brown hair. However, one girl had blue eyes and the other green.

"Yeah good thanks," Michael said with a smile, "Ashton and Sienna, this is Evie," Michael said gesturing to the girl with the light green eyes. She was incredibly skinny, wearing a black one piece showing off her insanely long legs.

"And this is Olivia," Calum said pointing to his girlfriend, the one with the blue eyes. She had a sweet smile, and an extremely defined face, making me feel almost little and awkward in front of them, something I had never felt before. I am usually quite a confident person, but these two girls and their natural beauty made me feel awkward and out of place, which I kind of was at the moment since these are Ashton's friends and not mine.
