"Listen here, Jungkook. Your client this time wants 2 years and a month," Yoongi said, waited for Jungkook behind him who just closed the door behind him.

"Good luck, Jungkook-ah!" A cheerful, deep voice just heard behind the door, making Jungkook roll his eyes.

The door clicked to shut, and he followed Yoongi walking along the office's corridor. He shoved his hands into his jeans pockets before walking lazily.

Yoongi was expecting a response from the younger, but no words came out of his mouth.

"Yah, do you even hear me?"

"I heard you, Yoongi..."

"Where's the 'hyung' at the end?" Yoongi muttered, realising that Jungkook did not call him 'Yoongi hyung'.

He left the question unanswered, leaving Yoongi feeling unsatisfied. Jungkook could be sassier than him sometimes.

"Your client wants —"

"2 years and a month, I heard. So what's the point?!" the frustrated Jungkook asked.

He thought that the time of the contract had nothing to do with him. If a client chose him and would even want to go for over 2 years, then let her be. As long as he filled his days, stopping him from remembering his first love.

The one that he had dated for over 3 years, and the one that left him only grievances.

"Jungkook, I want to —"

"First," Jungkook interrupted him with a finger right in front of his face. He knew what he was going to say next was rude. "I ain't like you," he muttered and put down his hand.

"Second, so what if this client picks me for a long-term contract? That has nothing to do with me. I'll just go with it. And time can pass quickly, so?" He paused, staring at Yoongi coldly. It just felt like Yoongi's soul and Jungkook's just changed.

"And finally, just finish your punishment as an agent properly. There's no need to tell me here and there about what this client wants."

Yoongi stared at him coldly back. He wondered what made Jungkook like that on that day. His words pricked him. He wanted to scold him, but he knew he had no rights to do that now. He was a receptionist and an agent for a punishment, and the CCTV was watching them.

Meanwhile, the responses that Jungkook just showed to Yoongi made him felt bad. He knew he should respect the older, Yoongi had adored him since he first registered himself as a permanent boyfriend for the company. But he had no mood for a reason. It affected his emotions somehow.

Jungkook exhaled a sigh. He knew he was rude and had gone too far.

"Can we go now? My client is waiting."

Before they could move forward, Yoongi stopped him, realising that they had actually arrived at the meeting room where Nahee waited.

Yoongi exhaled a sigh before turning the doorknob and yanked the door. He leaned on the door, and the door bounced slightly with the help of the rubber doorstopper that stuck on the floor.

"Kim Nahee, this is Jeon Jungkook," Yoongi said, as he gestured at Jungkook lethargically.

He was not lethargic, actually. Jungkook still disappointed him.

Jungkook entered the room with a bitter smile, looking at Nahee. Though the deep inside, he felt bothered for making Yoongi upset.

"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Jeon Jungkook. Your contracted boyfriend," he bowed as he greeted with a faint smile.
