I pushed the finally put together dresser against the wall, going with the other two. There. The girls room is completed. Their beds all lined up to each other, the dressers on the far side of the room, they have a space that contains all of their toys. Before we moved in, we had the room painted pink. It looks really nice. Tomorrow I'll go out and buy those wall stickers, make it look better. I was just closing the door to the room when Katherine walked in. She had a sleeping Ruby in her hands and Brooke and Quinn were walking. All three had their pacifiers in their mouths.

"Ruby has a fever. Shouldn't have taken her out." Katherine whispered.

"Take her upstairs and put her in bed, if she wakes up and nothing is changed, we'll make a doctors appointment." I told Katherine.

She nodded and went upstairs. I crouched down to my other girls. Brooke took her pacifier out of her mouth.

"Daddy!" She smiled wide.

"Hey, Princess." I laughed. "You want a bath and then your bed?"

They both shook their head. I smiled.

"If you sleep, you can have cookies tomorrow." I said to them.

Quinn's eyes widened. I took them to the bathroom and gave them a bath and dressed them and put them to bed. Katherine was in our room, unloading a box. I laid on the bed.

"So...every guy?" I commented.

"What?" Katherine frowned.

"You said every guy." I answered.

"Men can sleep with one hundred women and get a pat on the back but a woman can sleep with maybe five guys and suddenly she's a whore? That logic is unbelievable."

"Ever slept with a married man?" I asked.

Katherine paused. "Yes. But-"

"Kathy! Jesus."

"I did not know he was married. I was eighteen at the time, it was a one night stand and it turned into him being madly obsessed with me so I gave him a chance. He was twenty eight and one night he came over and he had forgotten to take his wedding off. I beat him. I kicked his ass and then I went to his wife and apologized for my part. She told me he was cheating on her way before I came along and wasn't mad. She was happy I broke his nose."

"Damn."

"Brian, you do realize that if you ever cheated on me, I would lose my mind, right?" Katherine took off her shirt. "I would probably kill you...and her."

I looked at her.

"You give someone your heart, your soul...only to have it ripped out and stomped on. I've been cheated on before and it sucks but I wouldn't be able to handle it if you ever did it."

"Katherine, I would never cheat on you. So shut up." I held up a hand because she was about to continue. "I love you."

She blew me a kiss and slipped off her pants. "We need sleep. Tomorrow is a day of unpacking. Alina and Kaleb are coming over to help."
