The next morning, at breakfast, we wait for Katherine to come down. When she does, she's in sweats and a tank top. Her eyes are still slightly burning with rage. She takes her usual place at the table and began to pick at a muffin, not really eating. The tension is thick.

Finally, after a few minutes, Katherine gets up and heads towards the sliding door. Kaleb rushes behind her. Outside he grabs her arm and she whirls around, blood boiling.

"Listen, I'm sorry. I was just drunk." Kaleb told her.

"You insulted me. Justified our enemies means to kill me. I expect that from the racer chick. Even the fucking computer geek that really needs to stop talking like he's in fucking ninety eighty five. Not you." Katherine hissed.

Tej frowned.

"I wanted to snap your fucking neck last night, dude. And your my brother."

Kaleb mumbled something under his breath and Katherine smacked him with all of her might across the face. We all held our breath, waiting to see what Kaleb was going to do. He stood still.

"Oh come on. No words now?" She hit him again in the face. Still nothing. "Hit me, you little bitch!"

"Brian, go get your crush." Letty whispered.

Katherine hit Kaleb once again. Kaleb's face is red.

"Brian, walking in that is like walking in between a lion and its food." Roman disagreed.

"Its sibling business." Tej agreed.

"Why are you so mute?" Katherine asked Kaleb.

"Because-"

"DON'T SAY A WORD!" Katherine screamed. "I've had enough of everyone's bullshit. You point me out to a bitch but what you did last night... That's the exact reason why I'm like this."

Katherine turned on her heels. "Your not my brother anymore."

Jeez. That hit my soul.

"Over a comment?" Kaleb looks hurt.

"You are nothing to me. If you disappeared right now, it wouldn't phase me." Katherine walked away from him.

She saw we were all watching. Her eyes caught mine and she actually looked hurt. I held my breath. She grabbed her car keys and went back outside, pushing Kaleb to the ground, got in her car and sped off.
