Yoongi's POV
"What happened..." I repeated Jimin's words. Jungkook had kept his promise. He achieved a scholarship for one of Seoul's best private schools. His parents, that were against the dorm system, agreed to let him stay with me in a flat whose rent we would split... I narrated all that to Jimin, as simply as possible, avoiding to put any emotion to my voice. All that belonged to the past and I couldn't cling onto it forever. Jimin seemed to noticed my mood and refrained from asking me any other questions and I was glad. I was sure that if he ask me to explain why we broke up I would burst out crying. I had gotten over it. At least that's what I told myself but at that moment I was so emotionally charged and knot on my throat made my voice sound so distant, that I could easily start sobbing like a baby.
"Yoongi..." Jimin finally said after a silence that lasted a few minutes. "One night I'll knock on your door and let you ask me all those questions... but I might be drunk!" He said and smirked.
"I think we said something similar to this yesterday..." I mumbled and got up.
"Did we?" Jimin asked and I looked at him surprised that he had heard me. I nodded in response and headed for the bench where Vicky was waiting for me.
"Come visit us again!" I told him.
"I would do that anyways, your coffee is quite nice!" He replied and got up too leaving the shop.
"Remembering this stuff always makes me emotional". I muttered rubbing my nose.
"Are you okay?" Vicky asked me.
"Not sure Vix..." I muttered. "Not sure!"
Jungkook's POV
I had promised Jimin that I would find a place close to his University where we could hang out for today. But no matter how much I tried couldn't think of somewhere cozy in the area. A couple of times I had thought of taking him to the place Yoongi worked, Allegria, hoping that he would have a late night shift. But maybe deep inside I wanted him to be there. That hope though, was something I didn't even want to admit to myself. In the end, as the time Jimin would have his break approached, I gave up and texted him, telling him to meet me in that coffee shop when he was free.
He replied quickly telling me that he would be there at about 4:00. I checked the time and saw I had a half an hour to get there. I would probably arrive there early but I didn't really mind. I could order a coffee and wait for him. The sun was one hour away from it's setting and the streets of Seoul were filled with people. People that were in a hurry to get back home, couples strolling around, students, it was alive and I loved it. When I got inside of Allegria I saw Yoongi standing behind the bench and blinked twice to make sure my eyes weren't making up stuff.
"Jungkook?" He asked me.
"Yoongi?" I asked back.
"What are you doing here?" Yoongi asked me and then frowned a bit. "Don't tell me you forgot that I work here?" He asked me.
"No". I said delaying a bit. I opened my mouth to say something but he didn't let me.
"I'll take your order". Yoongi told me seriously.
"A double espresso!" I ordered.
"You want me to believe that you came all the way here, from your University, just to drink a double espresso?" He asked and I avoided his eyes. I couldn't lie to him and tell him that I was just returning from a walk because Jimin would arrive here in any time. "Kookie!" He said and I became red with anger in the sound of my old nickname. But Yoongi didn't say it in the way he used to. He was sarcastic and that name fell like a curse word from his lips.
"Yoongi will you please stop talking with the customers?!" I heard a hoarse voice that was directed to Yoongi saying. "You have an order!"
"Yes Kibum!" Yoongi muttered and turned around to make my coffee.
I got out my phone to check the time but instead I saw a message from: Hot Neighbor😉

"Here's your espresso!" Yoongi said and placed the cup next to my hands exactly after I pressed 'send'. I quickly hid my turned off my phone and put it inside my pocket. I sat on the chairs around the bench and started drinking it slowly.
"Don't look at me like that! I just happened to pass by!" I said confidently now. Yoongi raised his eyebrows suspiciously. "When do you finish your shift?" I asked him.
"I just started. And I'll be off at midnight." He replied a bit surprised at first. "Why the interest?" He asked me.
"I simply wanted to know! So you won't wake me up at three or something!" I exclaimed and made an irritated face.
"I almost never come back at three... and if I do now, I won't wake you up! I sleep in the couch in case you don't remember". He replied and he didn't salty, but disappointed.
"Believe me, I do remember!" I returned and glared at him. I finished drinking my coffee and got up to leave. I hesitated for a moment, not knowing whether I should say goodbye to him or not but in the end I walked outside silent.
On my way home I kept thinking that Jimin had invited me to his apartment. Alone. Without Yoongi, who will be working until 12:00. I was so excited that I couldn't stop smiling.
