A Walk in New York

I open my eyes and I see Katy is already sitting up. I grab her by her shoulders and kiss her lips. She smiles and rests her head on my shoulder .

"I was thinking that we should go for a walk in New York today." I say

"That would be so fun! We could go to some stores, and ah it will be so fun!" Katy says excitedly

Katy and I get ready . It was snowing a little bit outside so Katy wears a white long sleeved shirt with jeans and a black long coat and black boots. I decide to wear Jeans and a t -shirt with a heavy jacket.

"Alright let's go!" I say opening the door.

Katy and I start our walk going to a small cafe to get a cup of coffee when we have our coffee we walk to a small urban clothing store. It was an interesting little store that surprisingly had a lot of cool things and the clothes were really fashionable . Katy bought herself a few shirts and I bought a nice leather jacket. We walked past a man selling roses on the street and I bought Katy a pretty white one to match her outfit . As we moved from store to store and the day drug on the snow started getting heavier.

"Looks like a snowstorm is coming. We better start getting home." I say to Katy

"Yeah your probably right."

Katy and I walk hand and hand down the crowded streets of New York as we arrive at the apartment building I hear Katy's name being shouted assuming it was a fan Katy turns around .

"Russell?" Katy's voice croaks

"So nice to see you guys again!" Russell smiles

"Wish I could say the same" I mumble

"Katy I want to talk to you!" Russell says reaching for Katy's hand

"No! " Katy shouts

"Why the hell not! " he shouts back

I grab Katy's hand and lead her inside the building suddenly I feel Katy being lifted I look back and see Russell picking her up and Katy screaming .

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!" I scream

Katy hits Russell in his manhood and that causes him to drop her... He dropped like a ball on her head, I rush to Katy's motionless body shaking her arm.

"SOMEBODY HELP! CALL 911!" I yell at the top of my lungs tears streaming down my face.

"It's going to be okay." I kept whispering

Five minutes later the ambulance is putting Katy in the back . When we get to the hospital I wait in the waiting room . I call Katy's friends and Family but due to the snowstorm all flights to New York were cancelled for the next three days. Luckily her friends Markus and Johnny are in town and they are here within 10 minutes

"How's my Katy!" Markus says as soon as he walks in

"I don't know.. They haven't told me anything yet." I say looking at my feet

"John it's going to be okay... Now would you like to tells us what happened? All you told us on the phone was Katy was in the hospital." Johnny says putting his hand on my shoulder

"Russell approached us and he was yelling saying he just wanted to talk. I brought Katy inside to go to my apartment and he picked her up she hit him and he dropped her on her head like a ball she passed out...." I say tears in my eyes

"I will hurt him!" Markus yells

"Calm down Markus." Johnny says

After what seemed like forever the Doctor came out and told us that there's an 80% chance she will be fine but there's always that 20% chance ..

"Why don't you guys go home take showers and come back in an hour or so she should be awake by then."

I wipe the tears from my eyes . Thank Johnny and Markus for coming , call Katy's family, and run to my apartment in a snowstorm to take a shower. I just want to get back to Katy as soon as possible.
