it's only been four hours, and being here without ross felt super lonely. i only had violet to keep me company, but i was missing ross more and more by the second.
pull it together laura. you're complaining about a few hours when he's going to be gone for one or two months.
well that didn't help.
i look next to me as my phone rings, pausing riverdale to take the call, i didn't recognize the number. "hello?"
"hey, laura! it's me." the women said, enthusiastically.
i wiggle my eyebrows. "sorry, who is this?"
"nina, your boss?" she responds, harshly.
my eyes widen. "o-oh hey nina."
"well, former boss. your contract isn't up for another two months, but i was just calling to check in." she says, "and i was wondering if you'd be up for an interview."
"an interview? i don't live in new york anymore." i tell her.
"i know, but i'm california and i know that ryan seacrest has an open spot tomorrow at noon for the radio. he called and asked me about you." she tells me.
i smile, slightly excited. "really? then yeah sure. i'd be glad to."
"great. i'll come pick you up tomorrow, send me the address and we'll be good to go." she says.
"alright sounds good." i grin.
the line ends, and i stare at my phone. deciding to text ross.

i then decide to message the group chat that consisted of me, rydel, savannah, vanni, raini and.. courtney.
