Valentine's Day #1

Yeah, that's right I'm doing 2 Valentine's Day imagines. I know I'm that extra lol.

The second half of this imagine is the idea of Rawandxx_ so I hope you like it!

*Shawn's POV*

"No, it can't already be that late," I looked down at the time on my phone screen. It was almost eight o'clock at night on Valentines Day and I was still at the studio. I had completely lost track of time.

"Shit," I sighed, "I promised Y/n I wouldn't be late."

The conversation I had had with my girlfriend a couple of days before played in my head. "I have to be in the studio for a bit, but I promise I will be back in time for us to to something together," I had told her. "Okay," she had said, grinning, "I'm excited!"

And I had totally broken my promise. The reservation at a local restaurant I had planned was now not even an option. It felt terrible.

I tried to get ready as fast as I could and got in my car to drive to Y/n's place.

*Y/n's POV*

At eight o'clock Shawn was still not home yet.

I was a bit disappointed, but not too mad at him. Probably a lot less mad at him than most people would have been.

There was finally a knock at a door a couple of minutes later.

I opened it to see Shawn standing on the other side. He was dressed in a button down shirt and his hair was still wet looking like he had just showered. There was a single red rose in his hand, which he handed to me.

"I'm so sorry I'm late, Y/n," he spoke sincerely, "I just lost track of time."

"It's okay, Shawn," I said.

"No, it's not okay," he shook his head, "It's Valentine's Day. I'm supposed to be with you. And now we pretty much don't have any time to do anything together tonight." He looked really guilty and it was breaking my heart just slightly.

"Shawn it's fine. I understand," I smiled slightly, "We can do something tomorrow."

"Thank you," Shawn leaned in and and kissed me on the lips quickly, "Can I come in?"

"Yes, of course," I grinned.

We went to my room together. Shawn lied down on my bed, leaning his head back against the pillows.

I went to the closet and called to Shawn, "Hey, you know I went to Victoria's Secret today."

"Really?" Shawn answered and I could hear the playfulness in his voice.

"Yeah," I said, getting changed into a pair of lingerie I had gotten. When I was finished, I stepped out for Shawn to see.

Excitement lit up in his eyes. "You look stunning, baby," he complimented.

"Thank you, babe," I beamed, spinning around for him to see. I tried on a couple more pairs for him, sort of modeling them every time.

"I like that one the best," Shawn smirked again, nodding at what I was currently wearing.

I smiled and made my way into bed with him. I wrapped my arms around his torso.

Shawn slid his hand slowly up and down my thigh so lightly that my skin tingled as his fingertips moved across. "You are so beautiful," he admired, "Everything about you is just perfect. The best personality, so positive, and loving. Just absolutely beautiful."

I grinned and Shawn leaned his head down, his lips meeting mine. My body was filled with the great feeling I always got. He pulled me to lay on top of him, still slowly kissing me.

And it soon got heated.
