*Y/n's POV*

"Y/n...Y/n...hey wake up," I heard Shawn's voice and felt him shaking and poking my arm.

I groaned, "What is it, Shawn? Isn't it early?"

"It's snowing outside!" he joyfully told me, sounding like a giddy little kid.

"It is?" I gasped, quickly sitting up.

"Yeah, come look," Shawn pulled me to the window, moving away the blinds so we could see out. There was a perfect blanket of snow covering everything: the sidewalk and grass, even Shawn's jeep was the opposite color than it should be. There was even small amounts of snowflakes still falling from the cloudy sky.

"It's finally snowing!" I exclaimed, running to the closet to get a warm jacket, gloves, and shoes.

Shawn did the same and eventually caught up with me at the front door. "Wait, aren't you forgetting something?" Shawn asked.

I looked down, thinking that there was something wrong with what I was wearing, "What?"

He stepped up to me and pressed a kiss on my lips, his fingers sliding down my cheek. He smiled cheekily, "You have to have a kiss to keep you warm."

"How about we save that for later," I smirked, "We have to go and check out the snow." I opened the front door and ran out into the snow, each of my steps making slightly deep holes in the thick layer of white.

I started to make a small snowball whole watching Shawn cutely try to catch snowflakes on his tongue. There were plenty of while specks falling on his head and spotting his brown hair as well.

When my snowball was finished, I held it in my hands  and threw it at Shawn's chest, not hard enough to hurt him.

"Hey," he chuckled, "I can throw snowballs too, you know." I tried to run away, but the snow on the ground made it hard to and his snowball hit me in the arm.

I laughed, "That's it, I'm coming for you, Shawny!" We both hurried to make more snowballs and threw a bunch at each other while still dodging the ones flying in the opposite direction. Not all of them hit their intended target, but we ended up really enjoying it.

How many times had we done this as kids? I had no idea.

Then Shawn chucked a snowball that accidentally hit me in the face. It didn't hurt that bad, I was just a little stunned and my hands brushed off the snow. However, I dramatically pretended to be more hurt. I turned around, facing away from him and held my hands to my face.

"Oh, shoot, Y/n are you okay?" he ran over worriedly, "Baby what's wrong? What hurts?" Shawn put his hands on my shoulders, turning me around. He must have saw the smile on my face.

"You fell for it!" I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck, my cheek resting on his chest.

"Oh my god, you almost gave me a heart attack," he breathed.

I only laughed more, but then said sincerely, "I'm sorry Shawn."

"It's okay," his hands met my waist, "Hey, do want to build a snowman?" (*cough* frozen pun *cough cough*)

"Yeah, let's do it." I smiled.

Shawn collected enough snow to form a pretty big ball for the bottom of the snowman, while I rolled a slightly smaller one. I picked up the heavy, but still smaller, ball of snow and brought it over to rest on the larger one. Shawn guided me as I pushed it to the top, making sure that it would stay there. We even got rocks for the eyes, acarrot for the nose, and sticks for arms. Then when we were finished, Shawn and I stepped back to admire it.

"I don't think I've ever built a full on snowman before with the carrot nose and everything," he cutely laughed a little, his arm around my waist, "It looks really good, babe."

"Oh, I just remembered I bought some hot cocoa yesterday if you want some."

"Yum," Shawn grinned, "It's freezing out here. Let's get some of that."

He pulled me inside and we got some, holding the warm cups to unfreeze our hands. We stood outside again, a few feet from the snowman, and you could see our footprints sketched in the snow. Steam flowed off the hot cocoa we were drinking and it warmed my body just as much as the kisses Shawn would occasionally plant on my head and face.

---------------

I think that was pretty good, but I don't really know.
It has pretty much never snowed where I live, but when I do get to see snow it is really great!❄❄
