*Caitlin's POV*

"Are you ready, Caitlin?" Shawn walked up behind me as I stood in front of the mirror, smoothing out the jacket I had on over my dress.

He was dressed nicely, the top two buttons on his shirt undone.

"Yeah, I'm almost ready to go. My hair's just mess," I brushed a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Here, I'll fix it," Shawn smiled. He started to braid my hair, biting his lip as he focused. When he was done, there was an almost perfect braid going downy head. He put the hair the on and I have to say, I was shocked at how good it looked.

"Where did you learn how to do that?" I asked, admiring the braid in the mirror.

"Aaliyah taught me a couple of months ago," he grinned, "I guess she was preparing me for this."

"Well, you're not bad at it at all," I turned around to face him and kissed him on the cheek, "I think we're ready to go."

"Yes," he cheered excitedly, leading me out the front door.

At that moment, the sun was setting, creating the bright orange and pink sky that was slowly deepening in color. Shawn drove and kept his hand on my thigh the whole time. I had my hand out the window of his jeep as the cool wind blew past.

We finally pulled up at the movie theater and Shawn quickly ran toy side to open the car door for me. I hopped out and he immediately held my hand in his, "Thank you, Shawny."

After getting our tickets, and Shawn insisting that he would pay, we walked inside and stopped at the snack counter.

"One popcorn, please, for me and my beautiful girl," Shawn said to the woman behind the counter as I held onto his arm, blushing madly. He handed over the money and let me take the popcorn.

We walked into the actual theater and sat down in front of the big screen. I ate a couple of pieces of popcorn while waiting for the movie to start.

Shawn reached for some, but I pulled it away and teased, "Nope, you can't have any."

"What?" he smiled, jokingly, "That's not fair."

"I guess I'll give you some," I continued to tease, before popping a piece in his mouth.

His smile grew while looking at me and I placed the popcorn in between us.

As the movie started, Shawn looped his arm around my shoulders and I intertwined our fingers, cuddling up closer to him.

When the movie was over, Shawn and I went outside and were walking past the various shops outside the theater. It was cold and I was using Shawn as warmth.

"Let's run," Shawn said with a smile, kind of out of the blue.

I nodded and we ran for a few seconds through the space outside the shops. Our hands stayed connected even when we spread apart a little with the wind blowing past. Our eyes locked, our smiles matching and we stopped. (tnhmb music video tho..)

Shawn pulled me into his embrace and we could almost see our breath in the cold air.

"Thank you for tonight, Shawn," my head was against his chest, "It was really amazing. Like it always in with you."

"No problem, babygirl," I felt him press a kiss on my head, "I wouldn't wanted to spend my night any other way."
