This was requested by @karlypearl20 Sorry this took so long and I hope you like it!!

*Karly's POV*

I was on my way to do a photoshoot in a different city, however first I wanted to stop at a coffee shop nearby.

I pulled open the door and walked past a few tables to the counter. It was a pretty small place, but there was still quite a few people getting drinks and snacks.

"Hello, how can I help you today?" the girl at the register asked.

"I'll have one (whatever drink) please," I told.

"That'll be..." she took a second to tell me how much it would cost and I handed her the money.

"It'll be ready in a minute," she smiled.

I nodded and turned around, finding an empty table to sit at. I sat down and got out my phone. There wasn't anything too interesting to look at on it, so I put it away and decided to just people watch until my order was ready.

There was an older couple enjoying their morning together as they talked, sitting across from each other. And there were a few people on phones and laptops, probably working on something for their job.

The person that caught my eye though was a boy my age with slightly curly, brown hair and soft brown eyes. He was sitting by himself just like me and had a small notebook he was writing in with a pen. He was just a table away, facing me, so I could see pretty clearly what he was doing.

He would write a few words on the page, that I couldn't read, and then he would look almost frustrated, crossing out whatever he wrote.

Eventually, he looked up and I quickly pretended to be looking at something else, hoping he didn't notice me staring.

But he didn't look away or get up and move like most people would have. He just kept looking at me, his hand holding the pen freezing.

I looked back at him to see his eyes wide in awe and his jaw pretty much dropped. He was pretty cute to be honest.

I smiled and gave him a small wave.

He was a little embarrassed at first, but then he grinned and waved back.

I brushed a piece of my hair behind my ear and looked down at the table.

"We have an order ready for..." a guy behind the counter hesitated, "It doesn't say the name."

I realized that it must be for me and stood up. "That's mine," I called, walking over to get it.

"Sorry about that," he muttered, "We really have to get to training the new girl."

"It's fine," I assured. I had headed out the door before I remembered the cute guy I waved to.

I stopped in my tracks and checked the time on my phone. Shoot, I thought. I was going to be late for the photoshoot soon.

Oh well, I started walking again, I guess I might run into him another time.

*Shawn's POV*

I had just been sitting in a coffee shop in Toronto, trying to get some songs written, when I saw her.

I wasn't having the best of days, feeling like I couldn't write anything. But when I saw her my day was immediately improved.

Her eyes seemed to sparkle and I just got lost in them. I had never seen such a beautiful girl in my life.

And when I saw her smile, I was in love.

She must have noticed me staring because she waved at me. She didn't seem creeped out like you would expect. She was just friendly.

I shook myself out of whatever trance I was in and waved back.

I was about to go over and talk to her when she stood up. She got her coffee and left right out the door. She was gone, leaving down the street before I knew it.

And I didn't even know her name.

That's when I knew what I wanted to write my next song about.

At the top of the page, I wrote clearly: "I Don't Even Know Your Name". I started to write about her, already having a slight melody in my head. I wrote about how beautiful she was and how starstruck she made me.

Within no time, I had written a whole song about a girl I didn't even know. But who I couldn't forget.

I really loved writing this. I hope you liked it!
