"Are you scared of being judged by your peers?"

Billy: (Shit! Why the fuck did I say that to him?! Now he's probably creeped out.)

Oliver:....?

Billy: S-Sorry. I mean to say is...your...um...

Oliver: I been called a million names before...But no one has ever called me cute.

Billy: (W-What does he mean by that?)

Oliver: So...Thank you.

Billy: Y-You're welcome Oliver.

Oliver raised an eyebrow. How did he know his name?

As if reading his thoughts, Billy explained.

Billy: The reason why I know you is because we go to the same school together. I'm a few classes up from you.

Oliver: Oh right...(I forgot he's a senior and I'm a sophomore.)

That would mean Billy is at least one or two years older than the blonde boy.

Oliver: I should get going...

He just remembered he need to get to his mother's home and see how she's doing.

Billy: Oh okay...See you later. (He is kinda cute...I never thought I would a boy cute. Is something wrong with me?)

Oliver: (He's so hot...But he probably doesn't like me...Even though he did call me cute. Maybe he's just saying that to make me feel better.)

Oliver continues his walk to his mother's home and knock on the door.

No answer.

He sighs to himself and let's himself in...

He wonders why his mother would keep the door unlock sometimes.

Isn't she even scared of getting robbed?

He check around the dinner room towards the living room.

In the living room stood his mother, she looked depressed.

Oliver: Mom?

Mom: Oh...Hello...Sweetie...

Oliver: Mom. You're taken your medication haven't you?

His mother scowled and glare at the pills on her table.

Mom: I don't need those damn pills.

Oliver: But they could help you Mom.

Mom: Tch. I still don't need them.

Oliver's mother was stubborn as bull. According to the doctor, she is mentally unstable due to the stress she suffered at the hands of so many people...

Espically Oliver's abusive father.

He was an horrible spouse to her.

He beat her and abused her for years. Even when she pretended everything was alright to the point where she couldn't take it no more...

No one bothered to help her...

When they divorced, she lost custody of Oliver to his father because of her 'stripping' history.

Sadly to this day...She still works as a stripper.

Oliver: So... What's wrong now...

Mom: I'm...in debt....and my suitor is refusing to give me money...

Oliver felt a bit angry about that.

Oliver: W-Why?

Mom: He said my body isn't worth it.

Oliver: I'm sorry Mom....

Mom: Don't be...Your mother is going through some tough times. Middle age sucks. So does life. Oliver...Please do not give up hope on me. I'm find a way outta this. Then maybe I can finally be with you again...

Oliver: Mom...(I want to help you.)

Oliver wanted to help his mother a lot. To get her out of this terrible predictable moment she's has herself in.

Oliver: Here.

Oliver gave her a couple of bucks.

At least fourty to sixty dollars.

Oliver: It's enough to use for food. Not sure about the bills but...Mom. Please take care of yourself.

Oliver's mother said thank you when she received the money from him.

As soon as Oliver walked out of the home and closed the door.

He could've swore he heard his mother crying and shouting about how much she became such a huge failure in life and to Oliver as well.

Oliver felt the guilt fill him up and sadly walks away.

But...He does know a way he could help his mother...

But it won't be pretty...
