So, it turned out that the property owners of the land, that the water fall was on, called the police for trespassing. After they took us to the station the owners decided not to press charges, and the police were going to let us off with a warning. Unfortunately, that meant we had to wait there until our parents picked us up. When we had got to the station, we had also learned that it was eleven-thirty, so just add that to the things I'm going to get yelled at for when Sam and Clare get here.

Noah leans in "sorry, it seems that all I do is get you in trouble." His face displaying the guilt he feels.

"It wasn't your fault, you told me to go home and I chose not to. I'm just as much to blame" I tell him.

"Yeah but I'm the one that took you somewhere that got us arrested" he reasons, and yeah, maybe trespassing was a bad idea, but it's not like he knew.

"You didn't know we were trespassing, it's not your fault" I tell him, trying to make him feel a little less guilty.

"I'm still sorry" we sit in silence for a little bit until a woman comes in, she's too far away to actually notice any details, but I still get this feeling like she's familiar to me.

"Noah Riley Colleens, you are in some serious trouble this time!" she yells from the other side of the room. She doesn't come over since she has to fill out some paperwork first.

"And that's my mom, which means I'm leaving soon. I'm kind of disappointed that I don't get to find out your middle name" he says with a small smile.

"It's Connor" I say.

"What?" he looks confused.

"My middle name, it's Connor." I tell him.

"Wait so your full name is Kaison Connor Camryn" he raised both his eyebrows. Causing me to roll my eyes, most people think it's weird that I have a boy name.

"My dad wanted a boy, and he wouldn't compromise on the name, so my mom finally gave in" I shrug like it's no big deal.

"I think it's kind of a cool that you have a boy name" he says to me at the same time Sam walks in. He sorts of looks through me, and it's almost as if I'm not there. He signs some stuff at the front desk, and as he's doing this Noah's mother comes over, finished with paper work.

"Noah, let's go" she says sharply.

He stands up and turns to me "good luck" he then leaves with his mother.

"Thanks" I reply, even though he's already gone. I'm probably going to need all the luck I can get.

After a couple minutes Sam comes over, he doesn't say anything, he just waits for me to stand up. I start to follow him out when we're stopped, "Sam wait, there's some stuff the chief wants you to go over while you're here. Is this your new daughter?"

"um yeah," he says almost distracted, he then turns to me "go wait in the car" he says Sternly, his demeanor changing.

I nod, and do as told, when I get to the car, I find Clare in the passenger seat. She doesn't say anything just sits there until Sam gets in. I was expecting both of them to yell at me, but neither of them says anything until we pull into the driveway. "Kaison, you" Sam starts then stops before speaking again, "your grounded, now go inside" he says uncomfortably.

"Wait, wait, wait. We need to discuss some things first" Clare says, and I let go the door handle.

"I knew it wouldn't be that easy" I say under my breath, but she still hears it.

"Your right, it's not easy. It's not easy Caring about someone, and to always be worrying about them and their safety, only for them to not even care about you," Clare sighs "the entire time me and Sam were at dinner, I was worrying about you, I felt bad about the argument we had, and I thought you were at home doing the same, but you weren't."
