Ella's POV
I looked at myself in the mirror as I straighten my clothes. It's just a simple shirt and jeans. Considering I'm meeting with some people about business ventures, I looked rather...improper.
But I don't give a care. They need me and my money,so they will have to put up with me. I heard a knock. That must be my secretary.
"Come in"
"Ms. Ella, it's time to go". She said politely and I nod at her. She bowed her head politely before getting out of my room.

Bumaba na ko ng kwatro at dumiretso sa garahe. Pinagbuksan naman ako agad ng driver ng pinto pagdating ko sa tapat ng kotse.
Isasama ko sana si Rain sa meeting ko ngayon, kaso di ko sya masyadong nakakausap nitong mga nakaraang araw. Mukhang busy sya ngayon kaya't ayoko muna syang abalahin.
Nakatanaw lamang ako sa labas ng bintana ng kotse. Pinagmamasdan ang bawat madaanan nito.
Gusto kong mag-isip pero wala namang pumapasok saking utak. Madalas na akong ganito. Mag-iisip ng malalim, minsan nama'y blanko ang aking isipan.
" Ms. Ella, nandito na po tayo. " Magalang na sabi ng aking sekretarya.
Bumaba na kami ng sasakyan at nag-umpisang maglakad. Lahat ng empleyado at mga bisita sa gusali na ito ay pawang nakatingin.
Pumasok na kami sa elevator at hinintay na makarating sa 25th floor. Agad akong dumiretso sa loob ng conference room samantalang naiwan ang aking sekretarya upang ayusin ang mga dapat ayusin bago ang meeting.
"Miss.."
"Sige papasukin mo na sila."
Pinagmasdan ko lang na pumasok ang mga taong kararating lamang.
" Mr. Augustus. Pleased to meet you." I then shake his hands. I turned to look at the man with him.
Xiel Gonzaga..
Mr.Augustus is his father, so it's expected that he'll be with him. He was the heir for their company after all.
" Nice to see you again Xiel " We shook our hands and we all take a seat.
" Thank you for sparing us your time Ms. Ella. I know you're very busy. " He said politely.
"It's alright, sir. So..Let's get to business then ? "
We discussed their proposal. Their company is on edge. When I said that they need my money, I mean that they need it badly.
" Mr. Augustus what can you say about my offer ?" I studied him silently and waited for his answer.
" What offer are you talking about ?" Xiel asked seriously but I can see the underlying hatred in his eyes.
He probably doesn't want to be in the same room with me. What more if he's forced to talk to me.
His father sighed before answering me.
" Alright Ms. Ayala. I'll let you buy 30% of the company's share." he said.
"What dad?! Why would you do that?"
he asked. The muscles in his jaw is ticking. I want to smirk at him. He's trying to control his anger but almost failing to do so.
He is talking to his father, after all. He respects the former.
" She offered to buy that shares because some of our investors were pulling out from our company." And for the first time since we talked, I saw an emotion in him aside from his business persona. He looks stressed out.
" What? " Xiel asked surprised. " How did I not know of this?"
" I don't want to worry you ,son. And Ms. Ayala's offer is timely. Our company is in dire need, so I grab the opportunity."
I stared at his son. He looks like he wants to rip me to shreds.
By the look in his eyes, my mind wonders again. Is this how much he hated me? Oh if only he can see how much I loathed him too.
It's a good thing I learned how to mask my emotions.
" But, that would make her have 45% share in our company? Did you know what would that mean, dad?
She will have equal the amount of our share in our company!" he glared at me venomously.
Tama naman sya. Ang mga Gonzaga ay mayroong 45% share sa kompanya nila. Meron na kong 15% sa kompanyang ito at kapag binili ko ang 30% pa ay magiging kapantay ko na ang hati nila. Ang natitirang 10% ay pinaghahatian ng iba pang investors.
" I know,son. But do we have a choice?" Tahimik lamang akong nakikinig sa kanilang mag-ama. Di ko na kailangang magsalita. Kaya kong kumilos at sumira ng tahimik.
Xiel looks ready to murder me but he stayed silent. He looks defeated. He doesn't have a choice, so he just let it all play out infront of him and he can't do anything to stop me.
"So I guess that's all for now gentle man? " I asked them politely.
"Thank you Ms. Ayala."
I shook only his father's hand.
Mukhang wala namang balak makipagkamay Ang kanyang anak at bigla na lamang lumabas ito na dahilan upang humingi ng tawad ang kanyang ama.
Nang makaalis ang aking mga bisita ay naupo akong sa aking swivel chair.
Halos nag-uumpisa pa lamang ako. Iisa-isahin ko kayo at sisiguraduhin kong ako naman ang magmamanipula sa inyong lahat.
